You are being nasty and you still haven't said what habitual sin YOU'RE dealing with.
I knew you'd say this.

I told you several posts prior that I was no longer going to waste my time dealing with you on this topic. And I wished you well. If that was not clear, I hope it is now.

Nobody is innocent.

1 John 1:8

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
I have original sin and I may have sin in me but I am not aware of any and it has not affected my relationship with God He would tell me if I have sin I need to repent of as I talk to Him regularly.

Yes, if God doesn't give me patience to continue being baraged by everybody concerning my walk, I'll take it as a sign that He never sent me here to witness in the first place. If you are not well received in that house or city, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. You all seem to have all the answers and don't seem to need to follow His commandments then why should I try to change your mind? You seem to have your own beliefs that don't coincide with the way the Holy Spirit has led me to be, so I'll leave you to your thoughts and just say good luck with that and leave.
I like how you lumped everyone together. I was not part of this argument at any point yet you were quick to talk down to me.

Many want to believe asking God for something means God snaps His fingers and you get it. Has it ever occurred to you that growth requires effort?

James 1:12
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

The best way to gain patience is practicing patience. Not expecting God to snap His fingers when you make a request.

If you are innocent and don't sin, what are you asking for forgiveness for all day long?
just in case I am unknowingly doinfg something sinful, it's in the Lord's prayer, I automatically asked for forgiveness of tresspasses. Why don't you examine you OWN sin and stop accusing me

There is no such thing as original sin. That is a lie from the Catholic religion.

The Lord's prayer is meant to be an example of how to address God. It is not to be repeated endlessly like a drone.

If you were not part of the argument then you should not have come to the wrong conclusion that I was adressing you. I'm about ready to dump this thread as patience has not come and I AM trying but all some seem to want to do is accuse me and make me a liar.
I always ask for patience and always make an effort towards that patience I never said God snaps His fingers, Gosh where do you get these ideas?

What then is Adam & Eve's first sin?
Disobeying God. Now we are all born dead to God. This is never called "original sin" in Scripture. The Catholic religion has perpetuated this lie. They teach that once you are sprinkled with their water, you are sinless and can live a sinless life.

Nobody here makes you a liar. God proclaims it. You claim to be without sin. According to Him you are deceiving yourself and there is no truth in you. That is serious stuff.

Hmm... what's wrong with calling it original sin? It is the first sin committed by humans, and it led to the tailspin in our history and the wackiness in this thread :D

As for the rest... Catholics believe you're perfected after baptism? I've never heard this.

Why would you call it original sin when the only religion that calls it that is Catholicism and they have very specific teaching about it? you might want to avoid that verbiage.

Hmm... I will consult my pastor and a Bible teacher I know on this. But, if it's the first, then it's also original :D

Ultimately though, this word game is not a core issue of the faith, at least not to me. They sinned, whatever you want to call it, and that destroyed humanity. What IS a core issue is whether or not you see yourself as perfected now.

read JOB he claimed innocence and was truly innocent he didn't know why Satan was attacking Him because he was innocent.
I am not overly righteous I am the righteousness of God.

You are being nasty and you still haven't said what habitual sin YOU'RE dealing with.
we are to be overcomers:He will grant us grace to be overcomers. In I Corinthians 10:12–13,
1 John 5:4
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
James 1:12
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
1 John 4:4
Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Revelation 3:21
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
2 Timothy 2:23-24
Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil,

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7.
In the early part of Job, after calamities, it is reported he said "that which I have feared has come upon me", indicating he had a fear and our Lord tells us over and over to fear not, it could be Job gave an opening for the adversary to shift him.

WE are to obey His commands love God, love your neighbor, love one another, this is a way of life of course I love God with all my heart soul and strength all the time it does not fluctuate, loving others I have to rely on God's power within me. But of course we are to rely on Jesus forgiveness and always have a repentant heart, crucify the flesh, our faith in Christ covers our sins, but we can't pretend that abominations can't be helped and these sinners are never convicted by the Holy Spirit because they never received Him in them to do so.
I'll pass, instead of joining the dog pile.

I feel like no amount of discussion is going to gain any traction with this confusion and chaotic collage of opinions. And furthermore and more importantly it has no part in my walk with the Lord.

No matter what I do, this world is going to continue its descent into the cesspool of it's fallen condition, the best I can do is to try not to get any of it on me, too hard to wipe off and it doesn't smell good. Praying for deliverance and looking up.

..
one thing that may help is for you to answer the question of your op.

Do you think we are able to be sinless (obey the ten commands)

Because in the OP it appears you think we can. B it when questioned, You claim you do not

well, there we go, you have found the difficulty a Spirit filled person finds here at CC.
It is possible and we have had in the past , a private group where we can share what Holy spirit is teaching us, we few who walk in Holy Spirit anointing, perhaps we can do the PM thing and then if we want, go on to a private group.
The ignore function works very well to cleanse the CC experience from some who have nothing to add yet insist on doing so. Just click on a name and then click Ignore.
So you do not think the rest of us walk in the spirit?

Thats a prety damning statement you made their my friend. Can you back it up?
