I thought you had said something would occur before the end of this month.

Now you are saying rapture before the end of summer? Perhaps it was that...

I remember commenting at the time you said it that it was only two weeks and a couple of days away...

So was that it? You believe the rapture is going to happen before or at the end of this month?
The 9th of AV was a couple of days away when I said that, that was when this catastrophe in Kabul took place, it is a universal day of crying.

The end of the age is complex, it is a battle, and the rapture is simply one day out of about 2,000 days, Christians are way too focused on this one day forgetting that we are supposed to make sure the thief does not break in and rob the house.

That said, if you wanted one day on the Jewish calendar that says "rapture" it would be Tu B'AV, and that day is a few days away.

However, the Lord said no one knows the day or the hour and that would make one shy away from picking a day that everyone knows.

Jeremiah has a prophecy that indicates the first rapture takes place in the summer.

Song of Songs has a prophecy that indicates the first rapture takes place when the figs just become ripe (my fig tree has been producing ripe figs for about 2-3 days now).

You could go on and on, but I know what I said so I'll repeat it again since you seem to be unclear. "If the rapture does not take place in August I will have to reassess"

to me reassess is just like someone firing a mortar, you aim, you shoot, you see where it lands, and then based on that you adjust your aim. For example, there was some dispute about when the 9th of AV was, seeing the current events has helped me confirm the date.

I think the biggest and most persuasive prophecy is the mount of Transfiguration and the gospels tell us very precisely when that day is. So one possible interpretation of "no one knows the day" is that the Lord told the disciples when they came down from the Mount of Transfiguration to tell no one until after the resurrection. So when the Lord said "no one knows the day" He said that before the resurrection, hence at that moment it was true.

Again, simply a theory trying to explain why in Revelation 3:3 we are given a warning that if you don't watch you won't know the day. If no one knows the day and can't know the day then how is that a warning?

The Lord told us this would happen.

1. What happened in Kabul is a warning to us all. You see many fearful that they will be left behind, just as many believers will be at the rapture.

2. You see the military checking papers and only allowing those on the planes that had the proper paperwork, again type of the rapture.

3. General Milley said no one could have predicted how quickly an army of 300,000 collapsed. That is what we are told that it will be sudden destruction and they will not escape. This is a warning about what is to come.

4. Not only so but we are told that when the woman gives birth the dragon stands in front of her ready to devour her child. This is like the Taliban being outside the perimeter of the airbase ready to devour anyone who doesn't get on that plane.

5. Also we are told that the woman flies on the wings of the great eagle to the wilderness where she is fed for 42 months. That is what we are seeing.

I believe this is a warning to us of what is about to happen shortly.
I keep reminding myself when I read headlines of this type that it isn't actually Biden calling the shots.

Where are Biden's 81 million voters? Why are they not responding to these Rasmussen polls? At this point 37% support Biden, so where are those 81 million voters?

Apparently, the remaining 63% of those that supported Biden are dissatisfied with his job performance.

But why? He's not Trump. He has put in the most diverse administration ever. There are no more mean tweets. Everything Biden has done could have been predicted during the campaign. He hides in the basement, he doesn't take questions from the media, he has put Kamala Harris in charge of the border to eliminate the human rights abuses there, he has way more experience than Trump in dealing with foreign policy, he doesn't demonize China with racist language but rather is much friendlier to China and Russia. And he has identified the biggest threat to this nation, white rage, and it trying to root it out of the military with a loyalty pledge (hey, it worked for Hitler).

These voters must be awfully fickle if they let inflation, lockdowns, quarantine camps, border crisis and a few embarrassing defeats abroad change their mind. He has only had 7 months, give him a chance there is so much more he can do.

Don't these people know how terrible the US is with their inherent racism?

9/11 is only weeks ahead. Families have already asked that Biden not make an appearance. It took him only 7 months to hand power back to the Taliban. It's Saigon all over again, even the top Google headlines are saying it. It's a humiliation for America. Who is running this rudderless country? Where is the president as the Taliban takes back power after 20 yrs of fighting, blood, life lost. What can he say to the country when he does show his face?! Between this and the crisis at the border, this man ought to be impeached and everyone behind him. Where are the Republicans?! Stand up and do something before this duo tanks the country. Prayers for the women who have lost their freedoms overnight. And for the people who will most likely lose their lives for helping the Americans. What a horrific day for America.
I agree with what you said, but before we cry impeachment we should remember that it would make Kamala president.

I'm a little late to the party and haven't read this entire thread; just wanted to add my two cents, which someone else may have already mentioned.

It was Obama who started drawing down troops in Afghanistan. The Trump administration actually signed a deal with the Taliban to end the war. Biden could have decided not to stick with Trump's deal if he thought it was a bad one, but he didn't.

There's plenty of blame to go around on all sides. Afghanistan has been a fiasco from the get-go.

No doubt, there is a lot of blame to go around. Why do we say we are not good at nation building? We were fantastic at it after WWII (Marshall plan and Japan).

The reason is simple, the CIA uses these countries we take over to stretch out their criminal organization. They have turned Afghanistan into a major drug producer and exporter.

Pulling out is definitely better than occupying. Trump forced their hand on pulling out, so no one is blaming Biden for leaving, what we are blaming him for is ignoring the intelligence that this would happen, lying about the intelligence saying "no one expected this" (lie) or that "no one knew what would happen" (lie). What we especially blame him for is when you leave first thing you do is evacuate the people and the equipment. Imagine you and your family was going on a road trip and you dad left the wife, the kids and the luggage and just jumped in the car and drove off.

I think these calls about impeaching Biden because he ignored very clear requests to evacuate people and material first, starting august 1st, is not fair. To be fair to Biden those requests were sent after 3 pm, and his nap time is 3 pm so he never saw them (no one is allowed to brief him after 3 in the late evening or night. Now you might think that they briefed him the next day. Do you have any idea how much stuff he gets briefed on in a single day? It is mind boggling for a person who has full use of their faculties, you can't expect Biden to understand, much less remember these things when they try to pack so much into such a tiny window of him being cogent.

A lot of people are complaining that Kamala Harris is nowhere to be found and is silent about what is happening to the women in Afghanistan. This does not mean that she doesn't care about women's rights, she cares deeply about women's rights as long as it wins her votes and costs her nothing.

The problem is that if she speaks now it will cost her a lot.

We all knew that this was her attitude. The same woman who "believed the women" accusing Biden of sexual assault was the same who shut her mouth and campaigned for Biden as long as she got to be VP.
