it is really sad because there are two sides to this same coin..
- Those who think they can keep the law and use the grace of God to get out of the punishment for breaking the law only try to return to be justified by the law they just broken.
- those who ask for forgiveness for sin have no intention of stopping but ask God to forgive them to only go out and do it again.

6 For he will repay everyone according to what that person has done: 7 eternal life to those who strive for glory, honor, and immortality by patiently doing good; 8 but wrath and fury for those who in their selfish pride refuse to believe the truth and practice wickedness instead. 9 There will be suffering and anguish for every human being who practices doing evil, for Jews first and for Greeks as well. 10 But there will be glory, honor, and peace for everyone who practices doing good, initially for Jews but also for Greeks as well, 11 because God does not show partiality.

Those who joined Israel became part of Israel, not another nation. Now you're saying Psalms is in error? Oh my!

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.
4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Now back to YOUR problem:

No one said anything about another nation. Yes, they had to become a part of Israel... same as now. Only now, the message could be spread to the gentile.... this does not effect whether or not they had to keep law.
Galatians 5 is written to gentiles that were trying to be saved by their works. They did not have the spiritual component of the law. Trying to keep the law out of greed/selfishness is the same thing the Pharisees did. It is supposed to be your faith that drives your works.... otherwise there was no point in what the Messiah was teaching.

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
This IS my Sabbath REST = JESUS the Son of God who paid for my sins and gives me REST.
Come to Me all that are heavy laiden (sin) and I will give you REST - Amen.
