Joey has a crush on Rachel

I dont really buy it.
So Rachel does the whole seduction thing, (thanks to overactive pregnancy hormones) Joey takes one look at her and then realises he's got 'feelings' and is in love?

uh what?

as usual, Rachel doesnt have the same feelings. She NEVER has the feelings when everyone else has feelings. What are the feelings anyway?

ok confused. So then he tells her that. Hes in love, does this puppy dog look, and Rachels like yea I love you too Joey. Then she goes to live with Ross whos the father of her baby. What are you doing Rachel.

Brad Pitt also makes an appearance. He hates Rachel. I hate Rachel too. But Winona Ryder kisses her and decides that SHE loves Rachel. Didnt Brad Pitt marry Jennifer Aniston?

Or are they just friends?

sooo confusing

Rachel has her baby

Ross is there but he's not married to her, though his mother hints they ought to be married
Then Rachel thinks JOEY is proposing

what.

OK Im just not teally getting the whole Ross/Rachel thing. What they need to do is make a decision and STICK it. If they get married, they know they are going to get on each others nerves since they are so different, so they should just agree to stop lying to each other, mocking and making fun of each other and act like grown ups. Ross isnt suddently going to change overnight and become Brad Pitt lookalike
and Rachel isnt suddenly going to gain a college degree and become a scientist.

Love this ep! Brad hating Rachel was a great idea and hilarious! Yep, Aniston married or whatever for years.

In terms of real life...
I have only come across a few people that could be called real friends.
Most people want to use others, money attracts friends fast.

Money you got lots of friends
Crowding round your door

They wont come round no more....

I always thought people bought BIGGER houses so that they could have space to have friends over...but is that not the case...? Instead, people seem to buy bigger houses to store all their STUFF.

I am definitely thinking church should be held in sofa king stores.

This is how I think about it, pews may be the only place where random people sit together but in most churches, they are in rows and each seat is individual, like in a movie theatre. And they face a screen, like a cinema.

If church was held in living room (and home church meeting are) everyone just piles on the couch or sofa or sits on the floor and faces each other.

what is the deal with friends. well if you take away the sofa, where else do the Friends tv people hang out? (have wondered why nobody ELSE sits in their sofa though!)

I am genuinely impressed by that idea

huh Rachel moves back in with Joey.

I am not liking Rachels choices so far...seduce Ross, dont let him be a dad to his own child, make fun of him and then mess with Joeys mind and eventually break his heart too.

But shes rich enough to pay a nanny to look after her own child so, I guess thats alright.

oh no

Netflix sub may have run out...no more Friends!

but then I didnt miss the best clip...the baby toy race.

Or Ross's disastrous spray tan. People seem to go on about passing for white when white ppl often just want to pass for black or if that fails at least get a bit of colour on their skin...lol

sister said she still paying for netflix and hasnt cut it off, although she hadnt had time to watch any shows.

So I only have a few more episodes of Friends to go.

well Phoebe gets married and Moncia and Chandler decide to adopt and move to the suburbs (Westchester, a suburb near NYC. I keep coming across stories about people living in Westchester, apparently its an extremely well-to-do suburb)

Joey doesnt want all his friends to move away. Over the course of ten seasons, it seems Joey never really grows up. Hes a sweetheart, while ALSO being a bit of a lech.

It made me think when was the last time I saw my old flatmate and I havent seen her in years...although I seen her pic on FB recently and her daughter came into the shop once.

If Friends was set today well it would be everyone still be living with their parents, saving on rent haha...unless they were all living in a really cheap hostel or squatting somewhere.

FRIENDS IS OVER!

however, I was left wondering one or two things...

Did Monica left her dream chef job in NYC?
Did Chandler continue his advertising job in the city or did he start commuting every day from the fancy Westchester suburb? And how long would that have taken him?

Or...did he become a stay at home dad while Monica worked? Or maybe they both worked, and left their babies in the big house with their grandparents.

Did Rachel continue to live with Joey after Ross and her got back together. or did she move into Rosses apartment, or...did they move back to Monicas apartment?

The chick and the duck?

Emma was due to fly to Paris with Rachels mother the very next day...did they even know Rachel GOT OFF THE PLANE?!

At my early life in Christianity I thought walking with God faithfully would require me to have very few friends or even none because I had seen many complicating the lives of others, but the spirit of God taught me to relate with everyone close to my circle for to such people I was going to minister anyway. For all these years I have learned that IF YOU HAVE/FIND PROBLEMS RELATING WITH PEOPLE ITS A GUARANTEE YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WALKING WITH GOD! The way we live with the people we can see communicates how we can connect with the God we don’t see!!! If you show me someone whose walk with God is rickety,I will show you the one whose friendship with people is unsteady!!!

what...no friends? Jesus had heaps of friends, why would you think YOU wouldnt need friends. Jesus needed friends to pray for him. And spread the gospel he wasnt going to do it all on his own...

I haven’t seen the show Friends but my friends are wonderful. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. We help eachother and always have each other’s back. It’s nice having people there for you and being able to there for them.

I struggle with the tv show, they didn't seem to want commitment before the relationships became physical. It normalized the one night stand. It's dangerous in that respect. They made their characters likeable and friendly
