I Agree, I just put it in a chronological order and took the rapture name off and put the Biblical term first resurrection.
Notice that our Lord does not call Himself the 'rapture'.

But HE does call Himself the Resurrection -
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

The First resurrection is a one time event right after the Great tribulation and not before. At the seventh trump. I'm not sure what you don't understand. You have to learn and put the pieces together. Paul said in 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Lol

The dead in christ are the first resurrection.

They meet the lord in the air.

But you claim the 1st resurrection is after the second coming.

So under your doctrine there is no meeting in the air..

False doctrine
Error

...but thank God for the COMPLETE WORD.

THOSE RESURRECTED ONES ARE CAUGHT UP.

BUT some of you here dont like that concept.

If it is a stumbling over a word "rapture" then just call it the "catching up".

Rapture, to me has a meaning.

It helps to be on the same page.

Some just get all extra biblical over words they don't like.

Call it anything you want. I can go along

A bit tedious but others hoops can be obliged on a limited basis

We post them

You ignore them.
Fantasy land
What did you prove?

That the innumerable number are in heaven?

That they were martyred DURING the first part of the gt?

That their dirty robes needed washing?

Oh wait, we got ahead of you.

Postribs never, ever, introduce the dirty robes. Totally ignore it in fact.

You could offer $1k to anyone that can find it in their "teachings".
No takers. Nor will there ever be

Any answer they have will be from some cunning manufactured mental sidestep.

RESURREC'TION, noun s as z. [Latin resurrectus, resurgo; re and surgo, to rise.]

A rising again; chiefly, the revival of the dead of the human race, or their return from the grave, particularly at the general judgment. By the resurrection of Christ we have assurance of the future resurrection of men. 1 Peter 1:3.

In the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage. Matthew 22:23.

That is websters dictionary. Complete with God and verses

Don't you just hate that the meaning is "TO RISE"?

I am the "Rising" from the dead?

Some would have a "re alive" and. Stay in the bed or grave.

Dead religion does that

Full of death and one trial after another.

No life in the realm of God.

Jesus always looked up when praying to the father. Heaven is up. Jesus rose up to heaven.
Up up up.
The dead in Christ rise up to heaven.

Up.

But hey
...leave em where you want.

Error. No rising

You have me laughing again (ty) by this you said: " CAUGHT UP - BUT some of you here don't like that concept"

i LOVE IT and can't wait for that Day = the Day of our LORD = His Coming = for it is our Deliverance from His wrath.

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

For now, we must wait for His Coming

Stay focussed on HIS COMING and HIS Resurrection and you will find the RISING of the Saints before the rapture.

When you place your complete trust in the ONE who said - "I AM the Resurrection." you will be on the path of understanding

Pretrib power points.

We do not look for the first white horse rider.
We are the only position that makes that claim.

We are already looking for him to come.

Teach me then how the they rise to meet the Lord in the air the day after he has completely descended and is standing on the planet.

I will wait...

Now lets go in Matthew 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

That great sound of a trump is the seventh trumpet and who is his elects, the saints. All this is Immediately after the tribulation, not before. Jesus said in Matthew 24: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Let's go and take a look at the company the Lord will have with at his second coming. Let's go into 1 Thessalonians 4: 13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
If you sleep in Jesus it means you have done his will. This is the first resurrection

Let's keep reading and see how Jesus bring the saints with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

This verse just told us that some will be alive to be in this first resurrection, the coming of Jesus, and there are those who will be asleep. Notice they asleep and not in heaven chilling and watching over people, smiling at all this hell going on.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Notice: Only the dead in Christ will rise first, but the Lord has descended...meaning coming down

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Notice those that were asleep or dead rise first, then those which are alive and remain rise next, to meet the Lord in the air, and altogether we come up in the first resurrection.

Paul also said in 1 Thessalonians 3:13 To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

So let's see where Paul got this from.

Let's go into Zechariah 14: 1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

We see how the word of God lines up from Old to New Testament. Let's continue, because the apostles knew where Jesus was going to be when he return.

Lets go into Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

Now if paying attention to what you reading, we see Jesus coming with his saints and all his angels. Now you notice it's not written how I just wrote it, but if you stroll back up and put it together you have a more complete story. All of this is at the seventh trumpet and more, you have to put all the pieces together from the Old to the New Testament.

Absolutely....Also Jesus said in John 6: 39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. 44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Still arguing about the rapture???? I pray for my brothers and sisters who don't believe in the rapture.
Why??? Because if you don't believe your not going😱😱😱😱😱 .
I want to be as bold as I can be and as truthful as I can. That's right your not going.
Read about the ten virgins again. Only the ones who were waiting were taken. The others left.
Only the ones that went out to greet the bridegroom went to bed in expectation were taken.

I believe that Jesus took my punishment for my sins on that cross. In fact I believe that Jesus took the full wrath of God that day on that cross. I have been baptised I have been washed and I have been cleansed by the blood of the Holy one of Israel. I have died and been raised in Christ Jesus. Amen

So what is left? Paul says that we are not appointed to wrath. He also says that "that which restrains must be taken away before the man of sin is revealed. He also says that we shall meet the Lord in the air along with those that died before us. And we shall be with the Lord for evermore.
Paul says that this all happens in a twinkling of a eye....less than a split second. No one's going to see it.
Jesus said it will happen in a time you think not so be constantly ready.

Yes
In mat 24:31 he sends angels to gather FROM HEAVEN(not earth),
and it is ANGELS GATHERING (not Jesus)
so that fails any semblance of a postrib rapture/ resurrection.

The rest of your verses do nothing to indicate a postrib rapture/ resurrection.

Zero.

The rapture is pretrib. That is solid bible.

Rev 14 has a gathering by Jesus sitting on a cloud.
Go back and look at what others with your position do to that chapter.

Most postribbers do not even realize that If Jesus gathers/ harvests believers DURING THE TRIB ( Rev 14) it destroys your entire doctrine.

And of course it does.

Funny you post Acts1.
Your doctrine actually prevents any " like manner"
Go back and look at the picture you painted at the second coming. Then compare it to Acts1 ascention.
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
Not even a shread of similarity.
Postrib Rapture is poorly thought out.

Oh....and you never proved anything at all concerning the impossibility of rev 20 showing a postrib resurrection ....and some notion that those on thrones make up the entirety of the first resurrection.
In Revelation 20 you see the battle of the Antichrist is over and Jesus has been on earth for some time.
So there is no resurrection of the Dead in Christ at that time because the dead in Christ shall rise to meet him in the air.
the dead in Christ meet Jesus in the air and that is before He comes to earth.

That's untrue. The rapture is God's doing. It doesn't matter what the people believe about the rapture. They will be raptured because they have no choice in the matter.
Actually it does

Because your eschatology views effect other parts of the bible.

Take the 10 virgin parable. A post-trib rapture adherent cannot accept the fact that virgins , in the parable are Born Again believers that have the Holy Spirit ( oil), and they have lamps so they have a light and they're waiting on Jesus.
a post-trib Rapture adherent needs that changed because five of them are foolish .
so they try to change foolish virgins into something else and make the foolish ones unbelievers.

That is changing the Bible to fit ones eschatology
