She is very sharp.(y):coffee:
Sophie is mistaken in some of her assumptions, and we need to see this problem clearly, not muddled.

She relates fear to demon possession, that is not so. Demon possession has to do with accepting sin as OK.

She is mixing physical illness with demon possession, and this should not be done. There is a clear difference between mental illness and demon possession, and we have professionals who can make that diagnosis.

Sharp in her condemnation of me?

Thankfully, I have the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith!
typical legalist mindset- " if you disagree with me, then you disagree with Scripture"

nothing more worse than a bad case of religious pride...

I am sure that I have been mistaken too in some of my assumptions. We may not always agree with each and everyone but we are all family here. I always appreciate your perceptions, estimations, and observations. God bless you.

I don't think it matters at all about agreeing or not agreeing, what truly matters is finding out what is correct. I think that people here are assuming they know all about the subject when they haven't made any attempt to study it. They have passed over some scripture about it, but never once dwelt into any facts about it that have been found to compare with that scripture. These posts are mostly ignorant and making statements based on that ignorance.

Christ looked at this problem as serious, we should too. That would mean that we learn facts about it and base what we do on those facts.

Have you checked this out with what the men say that have worked with the problem? Have you read the history of the world in regards to what has been done historically? They made mistakes we need to learn from.

This is too serious a problem in our world for people to shoot off their mouth about without any backup. It is like quacks pretending to be doctors.

More like, "if you disagree with the scriptures that I am quoting, then you disagree with me when I am quoting them."

And therefore, since I am quoting the holy scriptures, you are disagreeing with the holy scriptures inasmuch as you disagree with the scriptures as I am quoting them.

I don't mind if you disagree with me; but if you are disagreeing with quoted scripture, I believe that you have an issue with the Lord that needs to be resolved.

Sometimes family bites family, is what I would gather from this.

Like it says here,

1Co 14:36, What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?
1Co 14:37, If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
1Co 14:38, But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

The immediate context is important here.

Sorry...for some reason, I thought that this was the thread about women being able to teach as a church pastor.

no, you are quoting verses without taking context into consideration . then you misinterpret them.

i have no issue with The Lord. i have issue with legalists like you trying to add to " believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved."

one is saved by belief, not good behavior.

Do you actually believe that our Lord wants us to be ignorant about demons? Or do you believe in turning aside from anything about them?

Christ never preached a do nothing life. Everything about the Lord is truth based on facts.

The Lord does not tell us to sit in isolation on a mountain chanting "I have faith", yet not believing a word Christ tells us about how to live enough to do one thing Christ tells us to do.

James expressed it well.
