The real mark of the Beast

In all the debate over vaccination, a much more insidious disease has been creeping over the world. It's not new. It is increasing in virulence and becoming more widespread. Immunity is difficult but not impossible. However, immunity has the opposite risk factor to vaccinations aginst other diseases. The risk is isolation, deprivation, intimidation, and in some instances, death.

Some of you may recognise this disease. It is Political Correctness. Recently, a well known, even notorious Australian Christian approached a very large corporation, seeking a donation for the ministry of her church. The ministry is for help for the poor and needy. She was rejected, not because the corporation did not agree with the work, but because the woman was vocally opposed to same sex marriage.

The time may well come when in order to function in society, people will have to conform to the prevailing societal norms. At present, these include gender selection, addressing people by whatever pronoun they choose, agreeing that any sexual preference is acceptable, that whites are the cause of all black problems, that the present generation is responsible for all the evils of the past and so on.

If people refuse to sign up to these conditions, they will be unable to work, receive government assistance, health care, run a business or any of the activities that we consider normal. Such people will be treated like social lepers. At some stage, the world will agree that the not-PC people are a burden on society and should be killed.

This is already happening in North Korea. Any dissent from the ruling party's policies is punishable by exile or death. China is not as extreme but not that far behind. Authoritarianism is on the rise and there is little opposition. What there is gets suppressed very quickly.

The Beast may not be outwardly in control. We are seeing more and more that the spirit of the Beast is rising up, enabled by the complacency and lethargy of the church. I personally believe that the true church will be raptured before the great tribulation begins. Why? Because true Christians have authority and power over Satan here on this earth. Once they have been caught up, there will be no opposition to Satan.

For nominal Christians, the choice will be stark. Go God's way and be killed or submit to the Beast and join him in the lake of fire. My preference is not to have to face that choice. Every knee will bow to Lord Jesus, willingly and lovingly, or by terrified necessity. How much better to choose Christ now, and not face the wrath of God in the future.

I don't get your point. I know numbers of people who are Christian in name only. They know about Jesus but they do not know Him. And knowing Jesus is the definition of eternal life. Those people will be faced with a choice. Do they worship the Beast and take or turn to Jesus and accept the consequences.

You forget the sealed 144000 from the 12 tribes of Israel. In revealation 7,4.

When German police literally walk around with rulers in their hands during a demonstration -- in order to measure social distancing -- one knows that insanity has taken hold of the world.

While the OP is correct about the virus of political correctness which has now mutated into "Wokeism", the other virus which has infected probably 99.9% of the globe is the DEMON OF FEAR. Fear-mongering was the real driving force of the bogus pandemic, and an eminent epidemiologist has publicly stated this. Fear can literally kill people, but no one has any statistics on those who are suffering from anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts (as well as actually committing suicide or dying from fearfulness) because of COVID Tyranny.

The average death rate in the West for coronavirus was only about 0.05% (5 deaths in a population of 10,000) but everything was deliberately blown out of proportion to generate fear and panic and ensure that everyone was injected with lethal and toxic cocktails from Hell. That is what the vaccine mandates are all about. Thus the mandate for the Mark will go out and everyone will line up for it.

The one who has been spouting nonsense all along is you. And since Satan is behind this attack on humanity, that nullifies your idea.

It is impossible for the mark of the beast to be physical because there is also seal of the Holy Spirit which is spiritual. Obvious Satan is a counterfeiter, so I am guessing mark of the beast is spirit of antichrist which is given to all nonelects. Jesus only paid the price for God's elect, not the nonelect.
