God says that the dead know absolutely nothing!
No, that is the man who is "under the sun" who says that, not God. But not the man who is "under the Son". To come up with Ecclesiastes as an excuse for false doctrine is unconscionable in the light of New Testament truth. If the dead know nothing how can they be called "witnesses"?

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth... Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (Heb 11:13;12:1)

A.) Who is sleeping? - the sleeping in Christ are saints.
B.) Where are they sleeping - God has them
C.) When do those who are sleeping wake up? - when they are brought to their bodies and resurrected.
D.)Who are those who God brings with Jesus? - the sleeping in Christ are saints
E.) Where are they now? - now they’re on earth, resurrected, not sleeping or dead, ready to be caught up in the clouds with Jesus
F.) Who are the Dead that Jesus raises? - they’re those who were sleeping in Christ that God brought to be resurrected and raptured
So God has sleeping Saints with Him? - very foolish and not according to Scripture.

A.) Who is sleeping? = The Dead in Christ. Their dead physical bones are "asleep in the earth". = Daniel 12:2 , Isa 26:19 ,1 Thess 4:13-18
B.) Where are they sleeping - Their dead physical bones are "asleep in the earth". = Daniel 12:2 , Isa 26:19 , 1 Thess 4:13-18

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise.
Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust;
For your dew is like the dew of herbs,
And the earth shall cast out the dead.

"the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. "

Soul = nephesh in old testament
neh'-fesh
From H5314; properly a breathing creature, that is, animal or (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental): - any, appetite, beast, body, breath, creature, X dead (-ly), desire, X [dis-] contented, X fish, ghost, + greedy, he, heart (-y), (hath, X jeopardy of) life (X in jeopardy), lust, man, me, mind, mortality, one, own, person, pleasure, (her-, him-, my-, thy-) self, them (your) -selves, + slay, soul, + tablet, they, thing, (X she) will, X would have it.

Soul = psuchē in new testament
psoo-khay'
From G5594; breath, that is, (by implication) spirit, abstractly or concretely (the animal sentient principle only; thus distinguished on the one hand from G4151, which is the rational and immortal soul; and on the other from G2222, which is mere vitality, even of plants: these terms thus exactly correspond respectively to the Hebrew [H5315], [H7307] and [H2416]: - heart (+ -ily), life, mind, soul, + us, + you.
Total KJV occurrences: 104

Definition from Greek Lexicon
  1. breath
    1. the breath of life
      1. the vital force which animates the body and shows itself in breathing 1a
    2. of animals 1a
  2. of men
    1. life
    2. that in which there is life
      1. a living being, a living soul
  3. the soul
    1. the seat of the feelings, desires, affections, aversions (our heart, soul etc.)
    2. the (human) soul in so far as it is constituted that by the right use of the aids offered it by God it can attain its highest end and secure eternal blessedness, the soul regarded as a moral being designed for everlasting life
    3. the soul as an essence which differs from the body and is not dissolved by death (distinguished from other parts of the body)
point c is the only thing that supports souls being a separate thing, but you need to understand that pagan teachings started the whole deception about immortal souls and spiritualism

Those who sleep in Jesus, their souls, are brought to Earth by God and then their dead bodies are resurrected.

That verse does not mention soul. You are adding that thought into the verse just like pre-trib adds a rapture into verses where it does not exist. Paul was only saying Christ will bring those that have died with him. That doesn't mean they are still dead when brought. Paul is only identifying who Christ brings with him, those that died as saved Christians. We know from other scripture that they will have risen at the 7th trump so they are very much alive when brought from heaven.

The cloud of witnesses is the written record. >ALL< of the OT believers are dead. In fact, EVERYONE who has died is dead, with one notable exception: Jesus Christ. The Father raised him.

C.) When do those who are sleeping wake up? The Second Coming of Christ 1 Thess 4:13-18 , Daniel 12:2 , Isa 26:19 , 1 Cor ch15

By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God,
and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise.

No sleeping Saints are rising in 1 Thessalonians

Dead Bodies ('sleeping') are rising out of the earth and changing unto New Glorified

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt Daniel 12:2

Your dead shall live;
Together with my dead body they shall arise.

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep/died. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive 1 Cor ch15

Witnesses do not need to be alive to be a witness.
The bible is full of the witness of people that are dead. They have lived and died and there lives are a witness for those in the future.
the example of the Good and bad peoples choices are a witness to me and we are blessed by this cloud of witnesses. It is twisting the truth to state that witnesses must be alive to be a witness.

Noah was a witness but regardless of his state (Dead or alive in spirit), the witness does not change.

Rev_16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

souls die.

That is speaking of a soul as in a person, and yes people can die. That use of soul is not speaking of the internal soul.

Soul has three definitions.

1: the word soul is an old English term that could be used in place of the word "person" or "human being". Basically if you had a soul you could be called a soul.

2: The word soul can be a reference to the human body.

3: the word soul is also the spiritual part of human beings (it's moral and emotional aspect), and survives death and will wait for a physical body to inhabit again at the resurrection.

1Th_5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here we have all the parts that comprise a whole person:

body
soul
spirit

The soul here is definition 3.

1Pe_3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Here soul is speaking of all three, body soul and spirit together as a complete person. This would be a soul as in definition 1 and 2.

Human beings have a soul and a spirit and a body. Colloquially a person is a "soul" but a different type of soul than the soul within us.

Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death,c so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again,
we also believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep/died in Him.

E.) Where are they now? The Souls of the Saints who 'put off their tent' = died = are with JESUS = 1 Thess ch4 & Revelation ch6 & 7
E.) Where are they now? -
F.) Who are the Dead that Jesus raises?

And when the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had upheld. And they cried out in a loud voice, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You avenge our blood and judge those who dwell upon the earth?”

Then each of them was given a white robe and told to rest a little while longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers, were killed, just as they had been killed.

After this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue,
standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.
So he replied, “These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason,
they are before the throne of God
and serve Him day and night in His temple;
and the One seated on the throne
will spread His tabernacle over them.

The dead in Christ are dead Christians. They will be raised from the dead at the rapture. Dead OT believers, believers who died before the day of Pentecost, and people who will be killed for their faith during the upcoming trib, will be raised at the resurrection of the just, which will happen after the trib (Rev 20:4ff).
