The middle part is silent = let that sink in

Have you ever heard of the 'Afikomen' ???
Why are you changing the subject from YHWH? There is no denying that it is God's proper name, is there?

Some things to ponder.

How many languages and alphabets did God create for man?

Does God check our spelling or our hearts?

Does His Righteousness come from academia or from His Arm?

Do we interpret correctly or do we allow the Holy Spirit to be our Guide = in all languages/alphabets?

Is the Gospel of YHWH based on the correct spelling or the correct Message, again, in all languages?

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed in the whole earth, for a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come."

When was a PURE language given that only YHWH knows and the angels desire to look into?
Wow! That is an awful lot of deflection for such a simple question.

I like to call Him many names, but most of all I like to commune with Him.
Lord, Father, Abba, Jesus, Yeshua, Holy Spirit, Ruach, Elohim, Hashem...Adonai, El Shaddai, Yahweh...my destination.
In the beginning, Elohim created the heavens and the earth. - Genesis 1:1

Jesus spoke these things; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. “I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. “Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. “Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; for the words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me. “I ask on their behalf; I do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom You have given Me; for they are Yours; and all things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. “I am no longer in the world; and yet they themselves are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are. “While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name which You have given Me; and I guarded them and not one of them perished but the son of perdition, so that the Scripture would be fulfilled. “But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves. “I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. “For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. “The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. “Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:1-26

His name is Father. Expressively - righteous Father. In Christ - everlasting Father.
I agree with the way Jesus addressed Him. However, "Father" is a title, not a name. The OP is about the removal of His Name from scripture. It' pretty simple.

You completely missed the MESSAGE from YHWH in Genesis.

His Name to ALL Generations = FOREVER is given to us in Exodus ch3
Abraham - FATHER of nations = Genesis 22:1-19 , Galatians 3:13-29 , Revelation 5:6-11
Isaac - only begotten SON of the FATHER = Genesis 21:12 , Romans 9:1-9
Jacob - Holy Spirit = Genesis chapter 28 - Read it

Throughout the Bible it is clear that GOD wants his name to be known and proclaimed.
In this day and age we can easily figure out that his name is YHWH (Pronounced Yahuah).
His name is always replaced with a Title, "the Lord". (about 6,800 times).
Can anyone explain why this has not been corrected? (IN ANY mainstream Bible).
"From the Prophet, Zephaniah, below is one verse worthy of meditation. I have copied various versions of the verse for any who care to see them.

Zephaniah 3:9
(ASV) For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent.

(ISV) Indeed, then I will return my people to a pure language so that they all may call upon the name of the LORD, serving him with a united will."
(
Italian GD) Perciocchè allora muterò le labbra de' popoli in labbra pure; acciocchè tutti quanti invochino il Nome del Signore, e lo servano di pari consentimento.

(KJV) For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

(KJV+) ForH3588 thenH227 will I turnH2015 toH413 the peopleH5971 a pureH1305 language,H8193 that they may allH3605 callH7121 upon the nameH8034 of the LORD,H3068 to serveH5647 him with oneH259 consent.H7926

(KJVA) For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

(Spanish RV) Por entonces volveré yo á los pueblos el labio limpio, para que todos invoquen el nombre de Jehová, para que de un consentimiento le sirvan.

I'm sure that all of our hearts are in the right place concerning salvation. Our presence on this site testifies to our desire to know God more fully. Still, the question remains in the OP. Why was His proper name replaced with a Title, when scripture clearly shows His desire for his NAME to be known. You would think this is an easy fix.

I really don't know why that is the case.

One Scripture passage to consider though, is in Revelation:

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS".

- Revelation 19:11-16 NKJV

It's possible I quoted this out of context, but I couldn't find anything similar.

This is all great and shows that God wants us to call him by name. However, where the passage says "the Lord" or "Jehovah"(yiddish), the Hebrew word is "Yahuah" which is His proper name, not title, and not with a bunch of J's and V's.

That's a truly wonderful passage. One of my favorites. But, the name written that no one knew but himself can't possibly be the name that is written over 6800 times.

Then why not just be direct and say that you think all believers should address God as "Yahuah" and give your reasons why?

You said your question is simple; well here is a simple solution.

This doesn't address the OP. Why was YHWH (a Name) replaced with "the Lord" (a general title) over 6800 times?
If it simply an oversight, why not fix it? If deliberate, Why?

He is my Desire, and that is good enough for me. I don't think naming Him is an easy thing to do...He transcends our reality. If you've seen into His reality, you'll know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, all the words that exist won't be able to give you understanding.
He is awesome beyond words!

I didn't say that people should address Him as Yahuah. I use "dear Lord" a lot in my prayers.
I suppose the OP is more academic than anything.
I do think that it would be a good idea if we know his name, though.
