The 66 books of the Bible is the greatest Gift God has given to mankind.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Gee, and all this time I thought God's greatest gift to man was His Son.

PS: In context, the scripture you quoted would be only speaking of the Old Testament since the New Testament hadn't been compiled yet.

Psalm1
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

All of Psalm 119

Jn12:
46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him:

the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Who is The Son?

Did God give the Son?

Why did he have to give the Son?

What did the Son Do?

.
Now let me ask you to clarify.....where do you get any true knowledge of God?

How do you know which Jesus is to be worshipped?

The Christian Jesus?

The mormon jesus?

The JW jesus?

Where do we learn in detail about the creation?

Where do we find out about the fall into sin and death?

Who defines reality, ie, right and wrong?

At first it seems like a simple question, until we work through it.

Amen to your post

the word is something God speaks and man understands and speaks , words are part of mankind’s design bekng made in Gods image.

of all God created man alone was made in his likeness and image , given dominion on earth freedom and access to the tree of life. Everything just given by the word of God the creator spoken to mankind the central and crowning part of creation.

everything we know is true about God is found in scripture and reflected later in our lives. Man is made to operate by the word of god hearing believing and following after the understanding conveyed by the words.

animals to some extent u deters do language inflection but words discerning then and converting them to thoughts and understanding , concepts of truth and life …these are mans traits more than anything else in creation man is designed to operate by the word

man can always live if they accept and follow gods word

“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:9, 15-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Adam could have lived by keeping this warning as truth and walking by it instead he tested the word of death it holds

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

in that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15-19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

israel could have lived if they obeyed all the words of the law. Instead they chose the words of death and cursing in the law. Notice how it’s specific to israel and the land they were promised in the law but the New Testament is about all
Nations and people.

Now Gods word is sent out to everyone to believe and belong to him by faith to the prisoners and free every race and nationality make and female young and old

your post is an amen we’re actually designed by and to operate by his word

“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:51‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:

forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus words always offer truth to change us and a blessing if we accept it. Words to live by when thinking of judgement

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

if we think this way it’s going to change how we are different subjects like for example forgiveness and mercy , condemning and judging others ect

No way. Jesus is God's greatest gift. The Bible is only the written word of God and only reveals a little of His nature and character. Lord Jesus is the living Word of God. The Bible tells us the truth. Lord Jesus is the truth. If you see Him, you see the Father.

The Pharisees searched the scriptures, but failed to realise what they meant. They spoke about Jesus. You can know the Bible inside out and not be saved. You can only know Jesus if you are saved.

You did not live in the first century.
You never saw or heard Jesus.
You have no true knowledge of Jesus or the cross without scripture.

The greatest gift from God to man is forgiveness.
It came in the form of a man. Who lived, died and rose again according to scripture.
He is the way, the truth, the life. His blood washed away the sins of the world.
For the work of the father was to beleive the son of whom he sent, and the work of the son was to glorify the father, and the father is well pleased in him.
For this son did not come to be served but to serve. He had not come to condemn and destroy but to save and restore.
This he did not do for his own sake but for those who beleive and obey.
For it was the fathers good pleasure to give us the kingdom. The kingdom of righteousness, and holiness, that shall never end.
So for the glory that was set before him he endured the cross, for yet while we were sinners he died for us.
That upon the third day according to scripture he rose from the dead giving testimony to the truth that was in him.

You would not know about Jesus or saving faith, or sin, without scriptures received by The Holy Spirit.

The pharisees learned of truth of their judgment but rejected it jn8:24-32.
The Spirit does not reveal truth to the proud.

How do you know about sin or forgiveness?
How do you know of the cross?

Scripture, without the Holy Spirit, i kills. It is the Holy Spirit which gies life. Isaiah 9:6 teaches our Savior will be called the Comforter and counselor, the Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Ruler of Pease and more. From this we know the Word made flesh is our greatest gift, Jesus Yeshi Yan.

I agree the Son is the most precious gift; but the scriptures tell us about Him and are indeed the very greatest gift after Him.

How do you claim to know any of these things?
Why did the word become flesh?
How do you know the Spirit quickens the word?

I know what you are saying in terms of infinite value.
Without scripture we would not know anything you are posting about.
