I'm gonna have to report you to some kind of official. You're Canadian, this is a food thread and you have not ONCE mentioned poutine. Pretty sure that's negligence of your basic civic responsibility.:giggle:

I am NOT you. I am me. :p

My previous post was a commentary on his nick and the stereotype that Canadians always enthusiastically recommend poutine.

I was raised in Midwest, and Poutine was a staple in the diners who served food to drunk people after the bars closed. Poutine, waffles, open face roast beef, onions rings, and lots of coffee.

I'm not even drunk and that still sounds good to me. Especially the open-face roast beef.

It's those big aluminum/metal ones lol
I don't have any in my yard, but a neighbor does. I just have the lines overhead going through my yard. I can't put any permanent structures on half my property because of them.
Oh then cut them down and sell them as scrap metal.

Ooooh the open face roast beef is AMAZING there!!! It's my favorite! It's a 24 hours joint, and when you order 2 eggs you get 4 eggs, order 1 eggs and get 2 eggs. They serve breakfast 24 hours too.

I dont know any dietician or nutriontionist, do you?

How much money are you going to bet. I asked between the two mcnuggets or kfc.
not homecooked, although you can cook mcnuggets and kfc at home (if you have a pressure cooker or deep fryer, which I do not)
I love KFC. Good stuff.

Yeah, the open face roast beef is where it's at. Oh, side of those onion rings too. I looked up what Poutine is. No, I don't think so. It's un-American for sure. :)

are ppl talking about hangover remedies now lol

in that case, the most famous one (before maccas opened 24/7) was a bus/food truck called the White lady that served burgers and fries to those partying all night having attacks of the munchies in Auckland

Apparently it was such an insititution that when threatened with closure there was a petition to save it

They are pretty much the same thing as American Loaded Cheese Fries, except instead of using shredded cheddar or other cheese, poutine uses farmers cheese curds. They get all melty when the hot gravy is poured over the fries. Yum,mmmmm
