I've been enjoying my in-laws on a mini vacation seeing them.
But we just got told this morning that my FIL was in direct contact with someone who had covid when at the rheumatologist office (nurse) on Wednesday....because his last infection caused him to begin seeing a rheumatologist to begin with....

So now if he tests positive on Sunday it's going to be a fecal material show....

Be careful about mingling with secular ladies, remember Solomon and Samson. Two men of God who got 'persuaded' to go astray.

Robert, I used to think that way. Even after meeting/marrying my husband, and both of us being believers, there was still a hole there when I looked to that relationship for filling in the holes. Because people will fail us, humans are not meant to fill the holes/missing pieces in other humans hearts. Only Jesus can do that.

Yes, good idea. If we have a desire that controls us, that we can't fulfil, then it's best to bring distractions (other interests) into our life that will help us get back onto an even keel. Many of us have had to do that.

.... and also, in my opinion we need to make sure we don't fall into the trap of putting an unrealistic expectation for all of our social and emotional needs to be met solely by our new spouse. We need to have a trustworthy group of Christian couples and other friends we can interact with, to help meet our life's needs.

Or are they more like plants that people call 'fillers' because they just grow so bushy but all they are there for is to fill a gap. They are not fussy plants and need no attention thriving on neglect and nobody even looks at them. Love those filler plants eh

But if you want a great arrangement you need MORE than just a filler. You also need a thriller and a spiller.

already going astray. married a non christian got divorced didnt learm my lesson so still dating Non beleivers

sadly i am more comfortable with that .rather than being alone. I am ADAM i am not meant to be alone.

jesus isnt meant to fill the hole that is created by needing a partner. Refer to Genisis.

Adam walked with God . closer than any of us will probably do. But he was still lonely. had a hole needing filling. So God sent Adam all the animals . Still a hole. still lonely. Finally God Created EVE . The only thing that made ADAM whole. Adam was not told to fill his life with God. that part of him could only be filled by EVE

Perhaps Adam was lonely because, at the time, he was incapable or relating to him. God did make Eve to be a companion and helpmate to him. Your point is quite valid. God did say that it was not good to be alone.

No kidding.....
This year is going to be the worst with highest per capita infections. Mostly due to lack of isolation, increased transmission, and ineffective vaccines.

There's nothing anyone can do at the moment with the current variants. One of the variants is bypassing the antivirals.
The current antivirals make your hair fall out....just saying....they aren't exactly like the Tamiflu we have had in the past.

I've been careful....probably moreso than most. But it's a global pandemic. Nowhere to go.

His Test came back positive. Now testing MIL. Gonna shower, load up, and get home. So we can access our doctors and get treated.
Bye bye hair....it was fun while it lasted.
