I want to know single men's opinion on marriage. The dating scene and christianity have both changed over the last about 30 years.

We also have third wave feminism, the advent of 'strong, independent women' who disdain men, and men's counter movements like MGTOW, Redpill ideology, and the Manosphere.

With the state of the world, what are you single men's thoughts in marriage? Is it something you want, are pursuing, are considering, or are rejecting, and why?
Well for someone like me, I'd have to say that if the lord wants me with someone then he will place her in my life. If he decides I shouldn't have someone then that's ok too. Either way my main focus is on him. As long as my focus is on him, he will lead me to where my life should go

And so the Devil speaketh. Maybe you are of the Devil. People like who who say illegitimate children are bastards and Satan's children drive up abortions (very true, especially in the past). I am ending my conversation with yyou.
I am ending my conversation with this member also. He is full of poison inside that is spewing out. Needs prayer though.

I will never join Mystery Babylon, I'd rather die, praise Jesus.

It is your hard heart that you need to repent and be saved from. You don't ever have to agree with lifestyles other folks find themselves in but to not at least admit the man is also responsible and a satan participant is where you are also wrong. It takes two to bring a child into the world and what if the poor woman was rapped by a sinful man you still feel the same way about her?

They're the evil simpanzee meathead footsoldiers of Satan that fell for the more wily and wicked shieldmaidens of course.

As for God's view and the Bible, oh yes, to be a single mother is certifiably evil, all the divorces and whoredoms and adulteries and even calling remarriage marriage and blaspheming God and love so proudly, God hates this all and is now to their face upending their shameful generations and smiting them like he promised.

It must be nice to be so high up in righteousness that all of us sinners look like ants to you... Tell me do you ever get a nose bleed?

The point is you're not the wounded man in the story. You're the Samaritan. Or you're supposed to be.

You choose who is your neighbor. Your actions determine and reveal who you consider worth helping.
Have to disagree with you there. The original audience being all Jews were much more likely to identify with the wounded man, not that horrible half breed (lawyer wouldn't even say the S word in his response to Jesus' question). Also the man asked who is my neighbor and then Jesus asked him who was the neighbor of the wounded man.

But still I agree we should all show kindness to anyone we come across who needs it. Because someday after he recovers that man rescued from the ditch may see another man in a ditch who needs help.

I said 30 years ago but the numbers vary. The intention is to say that not very long ago, things were different with marriage and relationships. Statistics, for instance, show that a certain negative and noticeable trend began in relationships in the year 2010. Several people link this negative trend to the fact that Instagram launched in 2010, a fact that wasn't mentioned in the study or known by the statisticians.
oh ok Im not actually doing longitudinal study on it

so not sure where you are getting YOUR statistics from!

The Dunedin study is the only one I know about that has tracked people every year, or every 7 years I think it is. But thats the people, although they might have asked about families and relationships as they aged.

Otherwise, Im sceptical about most peoole who bandy around statistics and they just get them from some womans magazine like Cosmo, or quote some dubious report, like Kinsey.

if going by Census stats, it depends on what country as well. You can see from numbers the amounts of population getting married, but it wont say if they are remarrying or what ages they are when marrying.

Also, you cant glean from that the quality of relationships. Number of dwellings might be an indicator, but you have to sort out per capita rates not just numbers, as obviously people are born and die all the time.

And this is the condemnation, that they loved the darkness rather than the light, and will never come to it, because their deeds were wicked.

Find out why Jesus has a few things against thee oh Pergamos and Thyatira before he comes and fights your fallen churches that commit fornication, divorce and remarriage, adultery, homosexuality, feminism, and all the sins unto death. Learn fast cause Jesus has said he will come and fight them with the Sword.
You must have been terribly hurt by someone or something to go on as you have. Are you a sinner? We all are sinners and fight the battle daily against satan and his evil sidekicks. None of us are any good and the Bible even says are best isn't very good something like filthy rags....We only have one Savior and that is Jesus Christ and it would do all of us well if we would try and become more like Him..

I admit I have been and am a sinner and I fight the battle daily. I have to ask for Jesus/Holy Spirits help daily without them I am nothing and can't do anything on my own. Jesus blood covers all of our sins even yours as long as you give your heart to Him... He can take the hurt and pain away from you. Reach out He's waiting for you.

The real Christianity is the same yesterday, today and forever. Any man that finds a lady companion that believes, understand and lives that, they've found a priceless gem.

Hmm, yes, of course.

After all, in Luke 23:34 Jesus himself said, "Father smite them with grievous afflictions for what they have done to me."

And in John 13:34 Jesus said, "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye require love one from another. As I have demanded that you love me, also you demand other people love you."

And in Matthew 5:44 he even went so far as to say, "But I say unto you, hate your enemies, curse them that curse you, destroy them that hate you, and pray God will totally destroy them which despitefully use you, and persecute you."

Wait, that's not what the Bible said... o_O

WE were discussing the Lords command to love our neighbour.
He defined the neighbour as someone who helps us. not the people of our own kind or religion
So yes we dont wish bad on our non neighbours we pray for them. as per another command from jesus.
But the first command is to love our neighbours.
So i will , love those that help me, despite if they are non christians. just because some one calls themselves Christian but offers only negativity and not help i do not love them . i only pray for them
