God is both genders, so He won't eradicate one gender.

The Bible doesn't tell us about female angels, but that doesn't automatically disqualify the possibility. While what most people call demons are 'masculine', they aren't male. However, there are 'other spirits' (eg. principalities, territorial spirits, mermaid spirits (and mermen spirits), etc.) that definitely have genders-- male and female. One class of spirits where this is true are incubi (male spirits that have sex with women in their sleep) and succubi (female spirits that have sex with men in their sleep).

But in eternity, there will definitely be male and female.
I just had a terrible, horrible, nasty, hilarious thought:

What if there IS sex in heaven... But no woman will do it with you there either?

That's when you resort to chocolates and flowers. Maybe there's no chocolate in heaven either. Bummer.

Nothing wrong with assuming as long as you remain open to more information.

You said you don't think we'll need sex in eternity. Well, that's nice. There are many things we don't need that God gives us. Furthermore, there are many things we need on earth that we're not even aware that we need. God designs need into us, so we often need things we may not even know we need.

Whether one argues that Adam needed or didn't need Eve, God gave Eve to Adam. At the end of the day, it's about what God wants to give more than what we need, think we need, or want. If Adam even had a grid for thinking about needing another human being, he certainly didn't know what a woman was, so he couldn't even 'need' one and he certainly couldn't ask for one. God created Eve without Adam having to ask. He gives good things without our asking; surely, He's willing to give good things when we do ask.

Again, this OP wasn't written to push some doctrine or belief (as I never care to do that). But I do find it interesting that the people who say there is no sex in Heaven push it as 'their final answer'... whereas the people who say there is or may be sex in Heaven simply state it as their personal opinion. One side seems shut tight to realities outside their own awareness and intelligence while the other side seems open to increasing in their knowledge. That's interesting.

Marriage is really a covenant between a male, a female and God that joins the two of them together. It is valid until the death of one of the consenting parties. The thing is there will not be death in heaven so therefore conventional marriage will not exist. That is not the same as saying that there will be no sex in heaven.

It says that we will be like the angels. I believe that some of the angels got it on back in the day.

I am not saying that it's probable there will be sex in heaven, but it does seem like there is a possibility. Of course, this matter is up to God.

He did say though that we cannot begin to imagine what is in store for those that love God.

I am 68, the desires and prayers have always been there, since before I was 20. When I went forward at church, I was 21. At that time I asked GOD for one thing, don't leave me in the singles life. It hasn't changed.

Interesting, angels can take human form. Can they take a male or female form?
Bible doesn't say either way so it's possible. There was a female angel in the TV show 'Touched By An Angel. In my estimation she was hot.

Don't try it. She seems like the kind of person who would just look at you incredulously if you tried a pick-up line on her. And her friend would tell you off and maybe whack you on the head.

The Mormons believe marriage continues into Heaven, even plural marriages. However, this thread is the first time I've encountered Christians believing there is possibly marriage/sex in Heaven.

Maybe angels manifest like men to communicate but don't look like men when not manifesting to them. Maybe they look like something else in heaven. I don't know.
The Bible doesn't say.
The recent eyewitness accounts aren't Bible truth, but are evidence of other beings that I believe are fallen angels, not evolved life forms from a distant solar system.
Many are described by Dave Hunt and others who have researched them in this documentary that I'll post for your interest.

Here is a segment of a good christian documentary on UFOs and aliens..
It starts on the summoning of these spirits through hypnosis.

Why do you think God has not given you your desire as pertains to a wife? Or is there a curse at work that is hindering God's will for you in that area? (Amazingly and disturbingly, the enemy is able-- through curses of various types-- able to hinder, prevent, or defeat God's will in a facet or aspect of a person's life.) Sometimes, God is giving but the enemy is taking and since we don't think about the enemy, we thing God isn't giving.

Daniel 10 shows that this in fact happens: God gave Daniel revelation, but the angel bringing that revelation to Daniel was hindered by the chief fallen angel over Persia which detained God's answer and caused the gift God intended to give on the very day Daniel asked for it to take twenty-one days instead to finally reach Daniel. Consider that this might possibly be at play in your life. I did a quick search for but didn't find a story about a woman whose marriage (which translated to her romantic life) was 'caged' by some occultists. The result was that though she was just gorgeous from early in life, men didn't really pay her attention and didn't date her... until God revealed the issue to her pastor who overcame it with prayer, etc. Two weeks later, she was dating a man who she later married.

Skim through or read this article when you have about ten minutes free: https://www.revelationsphere.org/index.php/2021/12/14/spiritual-cages/. Your 'wait' regarding a wife may be God's will... or it may be satan's will enacted against you through occult powers.

Also, I don't know if angels can take female form, but I believe they can. I believe the ones who came down and mated with women took male form for several reasons one being they found women attractive (or 'suitable for bearing babies') and another being they recognized that women were the weaker vessel and men had the authority; these are powerful beings, so the lowest they will go would preferably include at least authority. They would naturally choose to show up as men. But I believe the main reason they took the male form was because women could have babies, not men. The Bible only mentions these particular angels once or twisce... yet it mentions their offspring multiple times in Genesis and in other books of the Bible. I believe for them it was mostly or all about their offspring, not about human women. So, yes, I personally believe angels can take female form just as God can... but we don't see anywhere in the Bible where either party took female form, only male.

The sanctified version of sex does not exist in our world. Even in Christian marriages there are some issues, such as both not wanting sex at the same time, having different expectations, both being selfish in their own way, etc. Personally I don't want to see a bunch of lustful men in Heaven. So if sex is different from what I see here, then maybe.
If there is no sanctified version of sex on earth (though if in Heaven, it would be fully sanctified through and through), the why do the epistle talk about the marriage bed being undefiled? Moreover, why do we have the Book of Song of Solomon? Not only is that Book situated right in the middle of the Bible (the canon anyway), but God handed the writing of it to Solomon who had more wives than anyone else we know in history and who was led astray because of those wives.

Maybe you mean to say the perfect version of sex doesn't exist on earth, because the word sanctify, unlike the word perfect, doesn't automatically imply 'arrival' or 'completion'. Sanctification is ongoing on earth. In God's Presence (or eternity), all things are perfect, including sex if there is sex there.

I've wondered about a lot of quandaries. Example: two christians marry and have two kids, but the husband goes off to war or military service and disappears in a battle or skirmish. For all the military knows, he is dead, and the news gets back to his wife who, in the course of a year or two, remarries another christian man with whom she has two more kids. The one day, her first husband reappears. The enemy had taken him captive where he was for several years but managed to escape. The Bible says that a widow (or widower) can remarry. His wife remarried, but he was never dead. What is God's answer for this quandary? Is the first (and, really, true) husband supposed to drive off the new husband with his two kids and re-do his vows with his wife (since they're actually still married in a way) and move back in?
See Deuteronomy 24 :)

I've had people at church tell me, if you put Jesus first everything will happen. I than ask them, were you putting Jesus first when you met your wife? They said "no, I wasn't" I've seen drunks, addicts and atheist get married long before me. I've done singles groups, online dating, speed dating, clubs.......one friend told me a long time ago "John I have never seen anyone put so much into dating and come up with nothing" Friends at church have said, "John you're not married, but it's not for lack of trying" Others have said, "John you have done everything anyone could ask of you. You're outgoing, sociable, you're not shy, you're involved. For some reason GOD has just shut you out" At this point I am at a loss and sorry I ever evolved my dating life in my church life. I should have kept them seperate. I might be married and have a family by now.

So, before I sat down to type this post, I prayed and supplicated in the hopes that thunder wouldn't strike me for thinking these carnal thoughts...

Just kidding. Lol.

So, this is a legitimate question. I've heard a few arguments for and against. I started thinking about this after I heard about a famous preacher who spoke at a singles seminar. After one of the sessions, some young people approached him with trepidation and asked him if God would allow sex in Heaven. They looked embarrassed, but he told them that that was actually was a legitimate question. He could see that they were concerned that if they never got married on earth, they still wanted to experience marriage and all its benefits in Heaven. Too bad I don't remember the answer he gave them.

I don't have a clear opinion on the matter. Some people mention that Jesus said, "In the resurrection neither do men marry nor are women given in marriage, but they are like angels in heaven [who do not marry nor produce children]" (Matthew 22:30). They use this verse to say that there won't be sex in Heaven. But this is talking about marriage and child-bearing, not sex.

My opinion on the matter is pure speculation: I basically reason that when God created man and woman and said that everything was "good", He obviously included sex in that. Since God gives and doesn't take away (ie. He doesn't take away anything that is good or anything that He gives since all He gives are good), God won't take away sex or make it obsolete in Heaven just because good things don't pass away. Looking through the Bible, I can't recall a single time when God gave a good thing and then took it away with the reasoning that it was no longer 'needed'.

What are your thoughts on this topic?
sounds like you should be a Mormon, they have plenty of it in their heaven. Also Muslims.

Jesus actually said in Revelation that he would kill Jezebels children dead cos he didnt like her fornicating. I think fornicating means sex.

unless you reading some weird Bible that DOESNT have the book of Revelation in it.

Don't say it too loud. The religious spirit and the Jezebel might hear and come start launching veiled attacks and insults at me.
Oh they’re already watching you bro lol.

Trust me I can’t even talk around here without someone launching an attack against me.

It’s just a bunch of religious people, but I honestly don’t blame them. I really do accept that they’re just foot soldiers holding ground. They aren’t paid to know too much. May God bless them. ❤️

As you have probably noticed, those with the spiritual gifts are a minority in the church. The rest are just putting up a wall of self-defense.
