Scientists used stem cells from a mouse to create a mouse embryo, without sperm or egg. It had a brain and beating heart but only lived 8 days.

"Scientists believe that through this experiment it would be easier for doctors to identify why some pregnancies fail at an earlier stage."

This really bugs me. Not only are they "playing God" but it's so weird how the majority find abortion acceptable and then there is this, where they're trying to figure out why some pregnancies fail. Seems inconsistent. I also can't help but wonder (conspiracy theorist in me, I guess) if this is working toward a future where the only babies allowed to be born are those that are created via lab. Gives a whole new meaning to test tube babies, eh?

The first part talking about how for many years we thought a sperm and egg was needed to form a baby. That's the dumbest thing I've read since...probably Biden speaking. 😆 they think we're naive kids.

In all honestly I wouldn't worry about these people in particular "creating" a baby. They're not even having luck with mice. Although yes I think it's unethical.

" test tube baby" is a pretty insulting term. My husband actually used it before we needed ivf for our kid. You never know what life will throw at you.

Just my thoughts but if you tried to preach the Gospel to someone created by scientist wouldn't they say something to us like "hmm, that makes a lot of sense in your case but,,, your God didn't create me why do you think I should worship him?"...

I agree with you on all counts.

Really crazy that they're able to create an embryo without sperm or egg. I wonder whether the being created would have a soul, or the same type of soul, and then, if they can create a human embryo, whether they could create a sinless man (e.g. using cells from a female). It's Frankenstein territory in my view, and I'm certain if left unchecked, will (or possibly already has) lead to abominations like the Nephilim (and later demons) in Genesis 6. I think such modifications with God's property is evil, and don't think in our sinful state we should be messing around with this.

I definitely agree that they're working toward a future where babies aren't born via a womb, but only via artificial means (e.g. test tube babies). They've spent decades demonising mothers, and making out that giving birth is such an inconvenient and problemic process. They're trying to claim that men can give birth now, and with their technology, I wouldn't be too surprised if they achieve it shortly via various abominations. Then there is the sterilising covid-19 vaccine (so many women who may want to now can't give birth). There's also plenty of research and experiments creating artificial uteruses, which society may normalise in future in order to have children. Very sad for the children to be brought into a world without parents to love them properly.

My goodness. I cannot believe that these things need to be revealed and discussed. As old as I am, I've seen a transformation in the psychology of America. I've never seen our country is such disarray. Makes me wonder why anyone would want to cross our border and live here.
