Yes. Actually twice.
I was baptized the second time in the name of the Lord Jesus. Why? I became aware that the apostles never water baptized people using the phrase in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. It was actually a tradition begun by the forerunners of the Roman Catholic Church in 325 A.D. Jesus cautioned about following traditions. (Mark 7:13) Prior to the established tradition, and consistent with scripture, all water baptisms were done in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-7, 22:16) Upon realization of the truth, it became clear that the apostles were obeying Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19 by baptizing in His name.
The Apostle Paul also understood what Jesus' command meant. Paul's comments in 1 Corinthians confirm this, "Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name." Also, Paul explained in Romans 6:3-6 what actually takes place when a person is baptized; they are being baptized into Jesus' death wherein their sins are destroyed.
After accepting God's word, through obedience, my spiritual eyes have become open to many scriptures that reveal God's established purpose for water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus:
"And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." Acts 22:16
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:12
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." Acts 10:43
