That does not define what heresy is according to God.
Personally, I look at two examples.
Saul and Sampson. Both were anointed by God. Sampson repented which saved him. Saul did not.

A close examination of these two is needed to determine what is heresy and what isn't.

More words don't equate to more information. If you really want to communicate something people will actually read you should learn how to make your point with fewer words. I'm trying to help you out here, but you obviously think you know better. Later.

If someone is truly born again, there is no need for repentance.

That is not the way that I understand the scriptures to teach. Only those who have been born again will repent of breaking one of God's laws. The unregenerate person will not repent of breaking a spiritual law given by a spiritual God, that he cannot discern, and thinks it to be foolishness. (1 Cor 2:14).

God chastens those that he loves to bring them to repentance when they sin. God does not chasten the unregenerate (Psalms 73:5) They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they "PLAGUED" = divinely punished, like other men.

Do you believe someone who is a "Heretic" according to God can believe in Jesus?
And your post #100....I am wondering if the majority of heretics are heretics by choice, or is it just a lack of understanding and discernment. ....Kill them all now and let God sort them out. I don't recall where I heard that but it sounds Biblical or at least sort of Biblical. What about people born into situations where they are prohibited by law from considering a religion other than that ordered by the state. There may be examples in OT but I don't know. Your question seems more of what I still sort of trouble myself with. I just had Jehovah Witnesses at my door and they sound ok but I always hear they are not ok. Maybe state prohibited example would be helpful????

yeah brother I can’t help that your offended by a long post , like I said ill
Make a note if it so we don’t end up bickering

I’m good on following the forum rules I’m not looking for anyone to tell me how many words to use , I appreciate it but I’m not looking for short posts I’m not at all Offended by them there’s just no understanding in a summary short post I’m here to hear what people think and express what I think about scripture

how many words you use or anyone uses is already established by the forum rules to rest is preference you prefer this type of thing

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I’m at the point I want to actually understand what to at means and how it works

so I’m looking for this type of thing

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and then to discuss with others who also are at that point what it really means to us as believers so we can grow up and understand Christ better I appreciate your helping me but it’s that we’re here for different things.
I agree we’re “saved by grace “ like the summary but I also want to allow myself to understand what’s really in the Bible as far as accepting the explaination a That are in it and discussing those things with other believers .

it’s a pretty large book with a lot of words to read and consider and frankly sometimes brother one person has a lot to say and another has a little and I think that’s okay

its
No offense that your here and want to read short summary type things I have nonissue with it or how much you write I’m not really looking for short summary posts but. Pre for discussing what thy e Bible says limiting how many words each other use isn’t a benefit for me or really Anyone the solution is simple if you don’t like to read long posts read thre ones you are comfortable reading the solution isn’t to try to insist everyone writes how many words you prefer there are already rules for that created by the forum authority

there’s no offense taken d I hope also none given it just seems a childish matter really to me the forum here has rules for things like that we members operate within those parameters that’s basically then end of it for me the rest is preference from one person who’s seeking a sentence another a discussion no offense to either just people are different and speak different

anyways this seems a waste of time , old i Don’t like doing that as time goes by it becomes more valuable.

God bless you brother I appreciate you and hope you find more suitable posts in the future !

amen the only people who repent are believers who come to Jesus and hear his call to repentance

“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9:13‬ ‭

people who refuse to confess and repent when they have done wrong going forward in Christ have never been born again yet but hopefully will be

It’s the spirit who causes us to repent when we mess up and realize we have messed up. We don’t plot sin ahead of time but sometimes we recognize it after wards d feel repentance and then we go to god and confess that’s a born again principle we have an atonement and a priest and instructions for times we have sinned and become aware of it in the teachings of Christ and the apostles

people who consider themselves sinless are still looking at what “thou shalt not do “

And not looking at what Jesus said to go forth and do

and others never even come into the gospel teachings and allow Jesus word to be true , because they are opposed to the things Jesus taught us to do

God defines "heresey" in the Bible as anything contrary to sound doctrine.
You're getting warmer. Try again.

This time, please provide the book and chapter information along with your quotes. Also, ensure that your quotes actually align with your claim and preferably use the same term(s).

If a person doesn’t renew their mind will they go to heaven?
In Romans 12 It says by the mercies of GOD present your bodies a living sacrifice which Is your reasonable service and not to be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,If a person doesn’t do that will they go to heaven?
A child of God is already in heaven.

Luke 17:21
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

What do you believe happens if someone who claims to be “Born Again” is actually a “Heretic”?

"Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit." - 1 Corinthians 12:3 NKJV

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." - Galatians 1:8-9 NKJV

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world." - 1 John 4:1-3 NKJV

The above are a few passages which describe what heresy is.

All heresy is error, but not all error is heresy.

A heretic would assert that Jesus is accursed (either directly or indirectly) and one cannot do that if he/she has the Holy Spirit.

All sin is an offense to God, but not all sin is heretical.

Example: King David took Bathsheba for himself and had relations with her. He also had her husband Uriah killed in battle in an attempt to cover up his sin. So he coveted her, and he committed both adultery & murder. Was David therefore a heretic? No, because he did not teach false doctrine.

Luke 5:32 has reference to born again people when they yield their bodies to the sinful things of the world.

Sadly to say, but there are those that were among the ones that God gave to his Son to die for that are heretics that have the promise of an inheritance of heaven. No matter what sin that any of those that Christ died for commit, they will still go to heaven.

I do not believe the scriptures teach that in harmony with the other scriptures. A lot of times so many of God's children do fall away from God's fellowship, that will still not lose their inheritance of heaven.

The kingdom of God has reference to the church and it is within you, if you are Christ's bride.
