My name is Isabella and I'm 17. I've been a Christian for what seems like two years and a half. (It's hard to remember the time now )
I've given my life to God and Christ saved me when I was at my lowest at 15 suffering from extreme paranoia and self-hate. I'm forever grateful for his mercy. I wanted to start to connect with other Christians since during my first year of being a Christian it was really just me and my Lord. I lost all my friends and status at school. I'm trying to learn to talk differently to represent God and ask questions here! I would love to also make new friends! Thank you.

Get connected to a community of believers.

Living life with friends who are like-minded Christians will help. Find a church or Christian youth group for some fellowship and support.

Hello again @IsabellaLovesGod, patience and kindness, perhaps the two principal ingredients in "Godly love"/ἀγάπη (agapē) .. e.g. 1 Corinthians 13:4, is sometimes lacking (to one degree or another) on our forum boards, particularly on the Bible Discussion Board (on threads that evolve into heated debates). This is not good news, of course, unless you consider it as an opportunity for growth as a Matthew 7:12 believer, that is (see v12 below in my signature line), as well as a means of glorifying God (while being both salt and light in the lives of others for their good) .. e.g .Matthew 5:13-16.:)

p.s. - I didn't mention the above difficulty as a warning to you and/or for you to be worried, rather, so that will be prepared/not surprised if/when you run into it (in all likelihood, you probably will at some point, and it definitely took me by surprise the first time I saw it :oops:).

Good to meet you here. Don't worry about old friends. I lost all of mine after I got saved too. It didn't take much time to find out that it was for the best. God will provide new friends. Just be friendly, but selective.
