God did not make you autistic. When God created, He said it was "very good". Some people with autism are amazing, including Elon Musk. Others suffer. I have two autistic grandsons, although they seem to have grown out of it now.

The problem is sin. Adam disobeyed God and so became a sinner. The sinful nature is inherent in every human being. It manifests in different ways. Some disabilities are physical, others of the soul. There a nice, placid sinners and despotic tyrant sinners. And everything in between. Everyone except Jesus has the sinful nature. Jesus came to save us. "Save" means more than going to heaven when you die. Jesus can and will transform your life, as you let Him.

The first step is to accept yourself as you are and not complain. Then ask Him to make you the kind of person that He wants you to be. If you mean it, He will change you so that you are unrecognisable. It will take years, so don't be in a hurry. Be patient with yourself, don't worry about failures, expect nothing from yourself and everything from Jesus. Give Him complete control. He knows exactly how to set you free. Let Him lead you - He knows the way!

My response would be that 'Jesus was made manifest to destroy the works of the enemy' 1 Jn 3:8. Also, if you read Isa 53, you will see that Jesus 'took our diseases, pains and sorrows onto Himself'.

Also the Bible says 'believers will lay hand on the sick and they WILL recover' Mk 16;18. Find someone who believes God's Word and ask them to pray over you. This does happen in this day and age and if you want to build your faith, see if you can get on YouTube a couple 'Charles & Frances Hunter'. They healed people others thought were doomed. Start listening to healing tapes to build your faith. One man got healed of 3 'fatal' diseases by claiming Mk 11:23-24 over & over, expecting God's Word to be fulfilled. Nothing is impossible with God.

Hey Jaxy, hope not to sound real stupid but can you possibly get any kind of treatment that might help? Maybe flushing your system with steam like a sauna if you could somehow get that kind of treatment. Has that ever been tried? Don't know how costly that would be or if maybe steaming up your bathroom would be possible. Probably damaging to steam it up and likely not real effective. Only reason I mention sauna is because of all the toxins we are subjected to and sauna treatment is supposedly healthy. Hope this didn't sound real stupid.

'Believers shall lay hands on the sick and they will recover', it doesn't say except for Autism. Jesus said we would do even greater works than Him, and He healed the blind, possessed, lepers et al. To start, you must believe for it. Mk 11:23-24 says you'll have whatsoever you say if you believe/trust and don't doubt God's Word. There have been many valid healers even healing those on the brink of death. Start filling your mind with God's Word and not statistics, that have been conquered by faith in the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony/confession. 'He sent His Word and healed them' Psa 107:20.

Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is diagnosed and defined solely on the basis of the presence of surface symptoms. As autism is not a biological 'thing' in itself, it therefore cannot be cured, since a behavioural label is not a disease.

How do you know? What if it turned out that relieving your sensory issues contributed in ways unforeseen. Maybe you could do a go fund me and say you are trying a method to aid certain aspects of a 'condition', not necessarily specifying. Or maybe being specific. How can you tell the future only by trying something will you know. Years ago the Japanese were trying a deep freeze to treat arthritis. It may not have worked out but the information gathered may have contributed to medical knowledge.

Did you try it for several months on a regular basis like everyday for a set time at a set temperature? Some treatments may only be effective if followed exactly. Like antibiotics.

Jesus couldn't cure ASD but He could cure leprosy and raise the dead? 'ALL things are possible with God', right?

God's will is wisdom. Think on this and be patient in any and all tribulation. Everything of His will works out to be for us.

Image is not substance.. Image is a general outline of God.. Of course God is perfect in substance.. We are not.. Everyone on earth has their faults.. for you Autism is in that area of fault.. But in some cases it can also be a blessing.. I know some Autistic people have heightened abilities in one or another area's.. So sometimes what we think of as a curse can actually end up being a blessing in disguise.

God didn't create you autistic. Autism is a disability, often caused by man's interference (e.g. by injecting children with toxic vaccines, although I believe there are other causes also). Many people claim they have cured their autistic children, but this is suppressed by a corrupt media-Big-Pharma-government establishment, which profits from the misery of people and the drugs they sell to "manage" (not cure) disease.

I believe autistic people are often very clever. If you will use this cleverness to research potential cures for autism, I believe you will find it. If you accept the government lies that God made you autistic and that it can never be cured, I believe you won't find a cure.

Even if God doesn't choose to make you physically different and heal you, if you totally surrender your heart to Him, He can use you mightily like you are! Paul the apostle had an infirmity it seems, a "thorn in the flesh", that he asked 3 times for God to remove. God chose not to, and Paul accepted it and rather gloried in it cuz God's grace is sufficient. 2 Corinthians 12. But truly, im not denying He can heal you because nothing is impossible with Him and He's performed greater miracles before.

I was going to start a thread on this subject about christians with disabilities and diseases.
I to have many health issues as i know some of my brothers and sisters here do also. .....why?
There are those in the bible that had afflictions and health issues also.
God is worshipped in spirit and truth not by physical endeavors. So where does that leave us?
Remembering the words of joseph in the old testament "you have meant it for evil but GOD meant it for good" always comes to mind.

Where to begin? ....what have you learned about yourself?

I have learned that on my good days of no pain and feeling healthy i tend to be self centered. A my will be done attitude. Oh it starts out by praising God for a good day but then its all me. Untill i over do it then its Lord help me please.
Im honest here because this sickness has actually taught me alot about my self.

As I type here im looking at my tool bench that needs a lot of clean up but Ive noticed some tools hanging here that i have fashioned in a way to work on specific projects. Bent screwdrivers, wrentches ect.
I have pictured God with a tool box with theses same special tools that he uses to reach certain people.
Your disability may be the key to open anothers heart. Your example of overcoming ...a inspiration.

Have to go for now.....think about it.

I think that you are somewhat correct but, it may benefit if you try a heavy metal cleanse or a change in diet. As I understand that things can build up in us through diet and environmental pollutants that can affect us at a cognitive level. Just a thought...
