I'm baffled as well. I rightly divided the word for you and showed you that the way is difficult and you reacted with a laughing emoji.
Cause you are all over the place, sometimes it is the plain reading of the verse other times the meaning of the verse.

The "narrow gate" is harder to find, no matter which translation you use that is the point!! Few find it!

It is about the road before not after the gate that is hard. Once you enter the narrow gate you have Life

But your view, even after you find the gate (Jesus) He is still demanding "works."
In your view Jesus is not really a Saviour, you save yourself by your hard work.

I cannot help but laugh (although probably not funny ultimately) because you have all these people trying to show you the error of your interpretation and still you persist.

A rational thinking person would think "wow I must be reading this wrong" and re-evaluate and do a thorough investigation.

But not you, in actuality you are emboldened in your error and it is not just small stuff it is significant error

Thomas said, my LORD and my God and Jesus replied, you believe because you seen me but blessed are those who believe and have not seen me.

Right there in John 20:28-29 Jesus acknowledges He is God!

Why don't you believe that Jesus is God?

Ironically, it is difficult (narrow) for the elitist mindset to defer deity to any man, even if He IS, actually, God. This would require a humility that precludes all others from achieving such status, and this is, essentially, the elitist's aspiration, even if it is just for the ability to lord over only one other, such as "his woman," for example.

What Denomination claims to be Holy Spirit filled but denies Jesus is God?

Outside of Jws, Mormons, sda, which Protestant Group makes this claim?
I believe he stated in another thread this is his personal interpretation and he was not taught by anyone.

Correct @Runningman ?

“We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for
blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”
John 10:33

Jesus refuted them and corrected their erroneous false accusation:

John 10
34Jesus replied, “Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said you are gods’d? 35If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken— 36then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy for stating that I am the Son of God?

Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the
Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 5:18
There’s your problem. You’re learning who Jesus is from the way the Pharisees understood him.

This is Jesus’ testimony:

John 14
28“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.

So you finally come clean.

Clean with what? Jesus claimed to be the Son of God and swatted away the accusation the Pharisees had of him claiming to be God. Don’t you see it? Doesn’t that worry you?

The Pharisees actually understood Him correctly, He was stating He was God.

See you cannot understand Jesus because you do not accept His dual nature.

"The Father is greater" Jesus was speaking as a man.

All through scripture He asserts His duality.

I wouldn’t call this a personal interpretation. If I don’t understand something in the Bible, I pray and receive guidance. If I’m wrong about something I get corrected.

It’s a bit slow going, but I’ve almost attained exactly what the early church believed. 2,000 years later, it’s going to sound a bit weird, even I was weirded out at first, but the modern church pretty much has it all wrong.

I understand Jesus, the Pharisees didn’t. Jesus said he is the Son of God and proved it with his rebuttal. Do you deny Jesus is the Son of God?

He reasserted His divine nature so you are wrong.

37 Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” 39 Again they tried to seize him, but he escaped their grasp.

Even though He is equal to God, Jesus made Himself equal to you. How cautious should you, anyone, Pharisee or no, be trying to attain equality with Jesus? Very very cautious.

Well there is definitely something not right, because Jesus is God and the Spirit within you would lead you to this truth.

Jesus is both the "Son of God" and God. They are not mutually exclusive.
