Have there been people who have lived and died and never heard the gospel? How will God deal with them?
Perhaps this scripture will help:
Genesis 18:25 Will not the Judge of the whole earth do what is right?
The Lord is the righteous judge who knows everything, even the motivation of the human heart, we can trust him to do what is right. God Bless You :)

I wasn't asking because I don't trust in God. I was asking questions to understand why someone understood things as they do.
One of the great things about this site is how many knowledgeable people are here and how ready people are to help. So I truly appreciate your response.
While I find that if I ask questions and someone reads them and desires to be helpful, I will end up getting many responses. But I find questions to be the most effective way to get people to open themselves up within their own assumptions.

Hello Cameron. Good to meet you, thanks for the reply! Glad you found my post interesting. I didn't mean to imply that you didn't trust God, sorry if it came across like that :) There may be some questions we don't have an answer to this side of eternity, but we can say with Moses: He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he (Deuteronomy 32:4). God Bless You :)

The pleasure is mine. And I never take responses personally. I was merely trying to point out the reason I use questions rather than making statements at times. I have found people to be more accepting of conclusions they come to independently versus ones I proffer.
Grace and peace.

This whole situation at Asbury University has me wondering. Charismatics have been preaching for years that a great end-time revival is coming that will see millions of people turn to Christ and get saved. Since the revival at Asbury University started, people have been freaking out saying things like: This is the revival we've been praying for so long; and, it's going to lead to a worldwide revival!

Now, here's your chance. If you know of any scriptures that clearly teach a great end-time revival, or "harvest," as it's sometimes called, here's your chance to put it out there. Show me the scriptures.
if we search for end times scripture we find things like this

“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,

some to everlasting life,
and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried;

but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭12:2-4, 7, 9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

which makes this make sense

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

…And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16,

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:14-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Even today the apostles still shine brightly to believers like stars and still thier wisdom leads many to righteousness

“they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”

“many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life,”

Which again reveals what this is about

“and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27:52-53‬ ‭

The ot prophecies of the gospel being fulfilled
“For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Even the end of the prophets conclude with a promise of John and Jesus who came 350-400 years after Malachi’s last verses

Jesus fulfilled the prophetic elements of the law and prophets and psalms jerusalems end was 70 ad but we have a New Testament foretelling wha lord going to happen from Jesus forward until the end when he comes again to conclude this new testament as he came to conclude the old

I looked and saw a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was One like the Son of Man, with
a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand. Then another angel came out of
the temple, crying out in a loud voice to the One seated on the cloud, “Swing Your sickle
and reap, because the time has come to harvest; for the crop of the earth is ripe.” So the
One seated on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

I wonder how many times the Earth has been harvested.

As soon as the grain is ripe, he swings the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:29

Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the wine
press is full; the wine vats overflow because their wickedness is great. Joel 3:13

If you're too lazy to post the actual scripture verses I guess I'm too lazy to go look them up.
I took the time to post them, so no laziness there on my part...Just on yours! :p

I think people need to stop labeling this. I don't even know if the school itself has said it's in revival. People are putting more pressure on it than it needs to be. And it is a non- denominational school.
Asbury is a Methodist university

I expect there will be a revival. I don't know just how wide spread it will be, but it will involve a considerable number of people. I don't say this based on scripture alone, but because of revelation from the Lord which was given me in 2004. The Lord spoke to me and then I was in the Spirit. I saw wonderful things.

I don't believe your "revelation"; it's just that simple. God will send, and has already sent, a strong delusion so that people will abandon truth for lies. So yeah, maybe there will be a "great revival," but it will be a counterfeit revival; an anti-truth revival. I'm so thankful I have God's holy word to guide me; I don't have to rely on every wind of false doctrine or so-called revelation that comes down the pike.

You do not believe what I say and I do not believe what you say. In the future I will remember not to reply to your post. It would only be a trap set. I'll be praying for you.

You believe that the word of truth is not enough? Not complete? But there is more we need to know outside of God's inspired word?

It is amazing that the scriptures speak of saints receiving revelations and many miracles, and yet you do not believe? Do we read the same Bible?

Not after the completion of his word. No need for further truth. His word is sufficient.

18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.

Wether or not there will be a revival will be proven in time. Jesus said, " My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow." If you are his sheep then you have heard his voice. If you hear his voice then you are receiving revelation.
