True story.

My wife grew up thinking she was definitely going to marry a guy 6 ft or taller.

I’m 5’11” and 3/4”!!!

I grew up thinking I wasn’t going to marry an Italian.

My wife is not only Italian, she was BORN in Italy and lived there until age 4!
I'm 5' 11" too. I think that my wife is like 5' 1'' or 5' 2''. Maybe I should take her measurements.

God wants us with a person who will help us grow in love and fellowship with Him. When we focus on the outward apperances, we will forget about God and what He wants us to do. When we focus on the right one by how they help us Grow in The Lord. Then our focus will never leave God, it stays on God then the love regardless of APERANCES will always be genuine because God is in the throne of each heart of the couple.
Well spoken and we are in agreement on this.

My friend, join the club. I had two Christian women reject me after telling me, to my face, that my height (5'6") was not enough for them. Why? They didn't want to feel stupid standing next to me in heels.

Guys, remember that women who accuse men of being shallow or looks-conscious or whatever, have their own list of superficial preferences.
Dad had to ware heeled cowboy boots so mom could ware high heels . mom about 5'7 dad 5 "8

Well, we are both above average.

The average height for males varies by region, due to health and nutrition. In 2017, the average male in the United States measured 69 inches (5 feet 9 inches). Around a century ago, the average height in the U.S. was 67 inches (5′ 7″).

And way above average for the world.

The average global height of men is 5’6”!

In truth I speak to myself here also, when dealing with someone who seems to be misguided we should of course help them see the truth.

That is what God done, especially when people pushed Him aside like they did when He walked this earth.
“You who is without sin shall cast the first stone at her.”
So, with that being said I retract of that llama I posted.

I am a sinful man, therefore I have no right to cast any stone:
That's always a good reminder. I appreciate God's grace. We all need that.

The crazy eyes joke is one of my favorites.
I probably should have posted it in one of the funny threads instead. This has not been a funny thread. Although some thought it was funny that a tall guy kept trying to Garner sympathy about his supposed self image. I've seen that before and in some it's a tactic to elicit sympathy to manipulate the unwary.
Some guys like to pick up chicks by self deprecation. Others brag about their height and want all to know. Whatever his motives, God knows. I don't care what the guy's social problem is. He insulted all of the ladies.
Friend, I'm not down on you for anything.
I just don't think you read what was said.

Separately, I don't have reason to apologize for speaking the truth to him, then telling him to get outta Dodge. Men should act like men and need to stand up for such.
The moderator agreed or wouldn't have removed it. He makes tough decisions. I have no administrative authority or ability to take that action. That's not my role.
What I do have, as other men, is the authority to protect the ladies from gutter talk about sodomy in a very inappropriate context. I have little patience for that. I say, Good riddance.

As to seeing the truth, he can listen to the numerous gospel presentations and I hope he does. Gospel Truth

Oh, and I was married to a woman of 5'0". It can happen, but your opportunities narrow when you're a male who's below the average male height.

I forgot to check if the username was the same between that thread and the head coverings thread (as well as this one). I was just going by what other members said. :)

Your Scriptural comment has brought to mind more than I expected.
1. We are all sinful.
For the lost, the law point them to the Savior.
2. For the saved, to be restored to fellowship is 1 John1:9.
3. We all deserve more than stoning. That's why we all need the Savior.
4. Although we aren't permitted to enforce the death penalty as believers, that is a judicial decision where applicable. Not here.
No adultery was even committed.
5. The beautiful passage of God's grace is oh so true. Is it teaching that we should never judge in any matter? Is Jesus giving cart Blanc His approval of sins and offenses?
There are chapters that are worthy of a detailed study starting in I Corinthians chapters 5&6.
6. Are all verbal offenses worthy of being banned? Certainly not. I believe that most of the time offenses can be dealt with in other ways and simply forgiven. They should be handled in appropriate ways. Sometimes that's not easy to know. We must also consider those who were offended and the audience.
7. That's big of you to want to point an offensive person to the truth. May all come to know the Lord.

I took her measurements and they were most satisfactory. Hard to measure the depth of her heart but I'm sure it is deep. :)
If you measure her face during an unguarded moment, you can calculate the depth of her heart by squaring the cosine of her eyes.

I definitely agree we should extend grace to those who offend/make mistakes for sure, because we all need it. But the difference is the OP was exhorted a lot. He was being very stubborn and just wouldn't listen.
