The KJB a "Paraphrase Version"? If you believe this nonsense then you have not paid any attention to what was actually written in "The Translators to the Reader", nor in that Bible itself. And nobody changed the Preface since it was written originally. So that is just more nonsense.
Now HERE is the ORIGINAL 1611 PREFACE to the KJV. Here is the KEY Quote, that varifies IT was intended to be a PARAPHASE, correcting KNOW ERRORS in Translation from the 5 older English Version, and updated the LANGUAGE to the way KING JAMES spoke it. Top Paragraph below The Translators To The Reader, first sentence. And in the fourth Paragraph for the bottom, Second Sentence:
Truly (good Christian Reader) wee never thought from the beginning, that we should neede to make a new Translation, nor yet to make of a bad one a good one, . . . It was intended to be A PARAPHASE VERSION.

http://www.togetherweteach.com/TCB/kjvpreface.htm

Sorry it took so long, but I wanted to make sure it had not been tampered with, and it appears to be intact.

They received sharp criticism from MOCKERS for daring to create an updated Language Version, called Cavils,

much in the same way many in the KJV ONLY camp have criticized NEWER ACTUAL TRANSLATIONS.

The best actual TRANSLATION in my opinion is Holman's Christian Standard Bible (HCSB).

See, I varified it was not a TRANSLATION.

Scattered but coming home...
When He returns, He will gather us to Him, and His Choosen will then reign with Him forever, which is the final fulfillment of the promise to Abraham.

Regathering? Where is regathering mentioned.
The post-tribulation (pre-millennial) regathering and reconciliation of the sons of Jacob the nation Israel to Himself is one of the primary and preeminent themes and one of the most critical doctrines in all of God's Word. He has NOT forsaken the people he foreknew. On the contrary, the truth of God's testimony to His faithfulness will ever be praised because of it's inevitable dispensation.

Isa 11:11
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Isa 11:12
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Isa 27:13
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

Eze 20:33
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:
Eze 20:34
And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

Eze 36:22
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
Eze 36:23
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
Eze 36:24
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Eze 36:25
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
Eze 36:26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Eze 36:28

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Mic 2:12
I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude of men.

In what day?

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist. “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea. “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.” It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

Oh, that day.
This day is the same day. Obviously.
IMO, kicking Israel to the curb when the God's word says otherwise (in unequivocal terms) is frankly......revolting.

Rom 11:25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

1Th 5:2
For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

1Th 5:4
But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

2Th 1:10
When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

1Co 1:8
Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Co 5:5
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

The "day" Christ returns.....WHAT? I will tell you what.
For pity's sake man this is God's word. Get it straight.

Hos 5:14
For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
Hos 5:15
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

Hos 6:1
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
Hos 6:2
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.

Here let me just make 70th week of Daniel DOTL tribulation eschatology perfectly clear for you:

Jesus Christ, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Exodus, is coming "in that day" SPECIFICALLY AND PURPOSEFULLY AND PROPHETICALLY TO SAVE AND REDEEM ISRAEL. These are the sons of Jacob, ethnic Israel to be abjectly certain as to their corporate identity.

Don't you know that UNLESS the Translation Team Interprets from the ORIGNINAL Languages, it is called a Paraphrase. The did not use the original Languages, they used 5 English Languages, the Septuagint, and the LATIN BIBLE. And then the head of the TEAM SAID the ORIGINAL 1611 KJV, that it was: Truly (good Christian Reader) wee never thought from the beginning, that we should neede to make a new Translation.
