Reports are coming in that Russians are even abandoning Klishchiivka (SE of Bakhmut) due to Ukranians mortaring the Russian rear staging area. If this is true then The defensive lines of Russia are in full collapse. Prigozhin was correct....strange considering that he is Russian.

Good grief three days of this counter-offensive and AFU retakes maybe 20sq kilometers?
Good luck with retaking the rest before running out of cannon fodder.

And ammo.....depos are being blown up faster than they can be replentished.

putin is playing this masterfully.

using a soft hand approach, let ukraine keep feeding their soldiers into a meat grinder, let america keep pumping money and resources into a pointless ( for us) conflict.

The freshly trained recruits that NATO has trained aren't involved yet. They haven't even been fully staged yet. Plans for what exactly each battalion is going to do aren't finalized.

These are only reconnaissance in force platoons (small numbers with limited weapons) mortars are easy to learn to set up and fire accurately.

Bakhmut is the meat grinder...Ukraine has been successfully using it to grind down the number of hordes that Russia throws at an enemy.

But notice that Putin had to have a draft call up to duty already. (Mobilization....mobiks)

Meaning Russian army is already running on fumes.

But mobilized/drafted soldiers don't fight so well. Especially when the country hasn't invaded you but instead you have been doing the invading.

Ukraine has only one shot at this. Also Putin's time is also running out. Russian economy is running out of time. Putin has been supporting the Ruble out of financial reserves (rainy day fund) and weapons dealers are unwilling to trade in Rubles. So they have been bleeding cash for a while now. Currently it's either 70 or 90 something Rubles to the dollar. And the support for the Ruble is fading fast.
(Sanctions are very expensive)

Give it a couple of months....and Putin's little show is going to be all over. Ukraine will be in mid counter-offensive and the unpaid Russian soldiers will walk off the battlefield.

Exactly how many are we talking about here? Because Russia has several hundreds of thousands in the wings. And then reservists after that. There are perhaps 350K Russians in the south alone.

Wow thats going to put a fright into Moscow!

Let's see: a meat grinder with a 5:1 or 7:1 attrition rate in favor of the Russkies. To whom is this scenario strategically favorable?

But notice that Putin had to have a draft call up to duty already. (Mobilization....mobiks)
After a beating and at gunpoint, tossed into the back of a van, because they snuck out of granny's basement?

Meaning Russian army is already running on fumes.
Other than the fact that the vast majority of regular troops remain comfortably in reserve. Oh yes, Russia has infinite amounts of cheap energy. Word on the street is that Ukraine is blowing VAST billions in "aid" on fuel @ 5-10X market price.....THIS FUEL COMING FROM RUSSIA!!! o_O Evidently Putin is filling his coffers with USA clownbux like crazy.

Ukraine has only one shot at this.
Without ammo?

Really? So pray tell us the debt-to-gdp ratio of Russia vs the USA, EU and Britian.
If you do not know, I can help you out there.

Former Ukrainian MP and Azov deputy commander Igor Mosiychuk released a video discussing recent strikes in Khmelnitsky and Ternopol, claiming that the depleted uranium theory is correct and recommending that children be evacuated from the explosion sites. He alleged that the warehouses contained a large stockpile of depleted uranium ammunition that was blown up.

Here is a Ukranian fighter....just a guy who has lived there his whole life.

Look at his "community" section where he details all the Russian Nazis who are now turned into governors in Russian occupied territories.

“Pravda” strikes again. I wonder how much a Russian troll is paid for polluting the internet.
Probably a fourth of what a Ukrainian troll is paid

Russian psy-ops have been really stepped up for the past two decades. It used to be just newspapers and magazines....now it's social media.

And the various social media platforms know which members are either regurgitating Russian propaganda or are indeed propagandists themselves....some are bots that make you believe that you are talking to a real person.
But the platforms actually don't care because these propagandists are increasing clicks and usage. (Increased activity is good for advertising clicks and money) It doesn't matter how wrong they are....that's the best part because people reply to tell them how wrong they are.

Ultimately people will claim to believe in the nonsense Russia puts out. Just like they believe in lizard people, Bigfoot, flat earth, illuminati, and other nonsense.

The Russian disinformation networks have teams of psychologists to help create the content to sway public opinion. It worked well during the pandemic to make the best practices and vaccines willfully refused by a significant portion of the population. The USA had the capability to be in the best condition physically after Covid....but due to Russian disinformation they aren't.

Where this disinformation age is interesting....
Personally I tend to think of this stuff as recreational drugs...AKA narcotics. A clear and present danger to society.

Russia, Iran, and others are using this method to sow seeds of distrust in Western Governments and to destabilize Governments. (So they can waltz in and take over)

Now the Democrats have used this free advertising to gain control of the Whitehouse but then it turned on them with vaccines and masking....and now with anti-war propaganda.
(Fleas come with every free dog)

So....are the politicians going to pull back the curtain on these "influencers"? The various social media platforms certainly have the capability to do so....but they don't due to the increased activity the propagandists generate.

What is so wrong with letting the sunlight in?

It's not the Russian propoganda that concerns me. It's the home-grown variety that's the ominous problem.
And Russkie agitprop is quite easy to detect. With a decent I.Q. somewhat higher than room temperature and some experience.

And what is this business about "Russian Nazi's"? Seriously?

BTW, your absurd conclusions regarding the COVID debacle are an indication of YOUR propensity to gobble up propaganda.

As for Bigfoot? Everybody with functioning grey matter knows they are real. Get a clue man.

I once saw a Bigfoot wearing a tin foil hat working on the physics of flat earth theory. But when I approached him he disappeared through a wormhole.

BREAKING: According to the Durham Report, the plan by Hillary Clinton to create a false story linking Donald Trump to Russia was briefed in August of 2016 by CIA Director John Brennan to President Obama, VP Biden, AG Loretta Lynch, and FBI Director Comey.
