Natural H2O has no power to produce Spiritual birth. It takes living water. (John 4:10,14; 7:37-39) The natural man can only seem to understand natural water. (1 Corinthians 2:14)

Did You actually just turn Romans 1:20 into a Regenerative type of result Verse?

A Verse, where Paul shows us specifically, it is about why Sinners will go to Hell, and it not be God's literal Fault or Choice?

Romans 1:20 has as much to do with Regeneration or Water Baptism, as a styrofoam cup, holding gasoline!

Romans 8:9-11 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, IF INDEED THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also GIVE LIFE TO YOUR MORTAL BODIES THROUGH HIS SPIRIT WHO DWELLS IN YOU.

COMMENT: The above tells us why, in Acts 2:41, we find the word: "ADDED"

COMMENT: Who were the 3000 added to? It was the apostles who were in the foundation of the church. See Ephesians below.

Again putting men one a horizontal with God.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

This would actually be the anointing of the spirit. not the baptism..

However, the baptism of the spirit did take place before the HS came into (anoint) them..

Grace, I have two points to make here.

First, if they were saved in verse 2:38, before they were baptized, why does Acts 2:40-41 say the following?

Acts 2:40-41 And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!" 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

Secondly, if Acts 2:38 reads in the Greek like you says it does, why do all the translators of Acts 2:38 translate it the same way. I have 17 different translations of this verse from different Bible translations and none of them translate it like you says that verse 38. means?

Maybe I have missed something. If I have, I am quite willing to listen.

Hebrews 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

You know, I believe that these and all the other scriptures are inspired by God. So, I believe what these verses mentioned above say. You, too, believe the same, don't you?

Again, the answer eludes you because you don't understand grammar.

The entire verse is an "if" statement. "Whosoever believes" is like saying, "If you believe". There is a condition in the statement. Those who don't meet the condition are excluded.

The Holy Ghost comes to dwell IN a person. (Acts 2:4, 33) Whereas those obedient to the command to be baptized in water in the name of Jesus are baptized into His death. (Rom. 6:3-6) The experiences are separate from one another and address different aspects of man's makeup.

"And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, (Rom. 6:3) AND he in him. (Acts 2:4) And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us." 1 John 3:24

God's grace is seen in His willingness to set in place a plan of salvation that man did nothing to deserve:

Jesus accompanied disciples but did not baptize anyone Himself. (John 4:1-2) His presence certainly indicated His approval of the practice.

As mentioned, Jesus prophesied that repentance and remission of sin (connection to water baptism) would be preached in His name to all nations, and would BEGIN in Jerusalem. This indicates that baptism in the name of Jesus was begun on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38)

Jesus did not baptize, his disciples did the baptizing. (John 4:1-2)
Also, consider that baptism in the name of Jesus was begun after His death, burial and resurrection. As Paul expressed, "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

"Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed," Rom 6:3-6

What did Peter do after the group received the Holy Ghost in order not to withstand God? He commanded they be baptized in water in the name of the Lord.

It was after hearing everything that occurred that the Jews accepted that God granted the Gentiles repentance unto life. (Acts 11:18) A vivid parallel of the requirements set forth on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:38-39)

"When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life. (Acts 11:18)

The Spirit is involved in every aspect of the NT rebirth.
Man takes a step of faith in obedience to God's command to be water baptized in the name of Jesus. And the Spirit brings about the associated reality of having one's sins destroyed. AND drinking into one Spirit is receiving the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. Both are essential to the NT rebirth.

The word of truth, the gospel of salvation, referenced in the Ephesians scripture below, is in fact what Peter initially presented on the Day of Pentecost. (Acts 2:2-42) And, Paul revealed to the Ephesian disciples in Acts 19:1-7. It is trust in Jesus that prompts individual's to believe and obey the God given commands. All are essential to the NT rebirth.

Ephesians 1:13 - In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
