Because Christians are not subject to Mosaic dietary laws as per the New covenant of the New testament

He meant far more than merely following the letter of the law(s).

The new testament doesn't forbid any meals ..nothing is unclean .all is clean because the grace is free for both the clean and unclean now that Jesus has resurrected from the dead ..apostle Peter had a vision to prove that ..God bless
