A serious decline unfortunately.
Ask yourself the question:

Who is sponsoring/inciting/sanctioning/commandeering:
-massive election fraud
-BLM, Antifa, J6 riots
-illegal immigration gone wild
-immense money laundering and human/drug trafficking
-bogus witch hunt persecution/prosecutions of political opponents

Is it the FED spooks and agencies and Hill swamp creatures? Just asking for a friend.

America is dead broke and the empire is tottering as well. Who is to blame for that?

I would only agree that he doesn't need to seek forgiveness from the people for what he did. That isn't the question or the focal point though. He was asked if he has EVER asked for forgiveness from God for anything he has done. It's one thing to not answer or even to say "that's none of your business", but he didn't say that. He explicitly answered the question stating he has never asked God for forgiveness.
Should have spelled that out clearer. Yes, Donald Trump needs to hear the gospel of salvation, to repent of his sins and ask for the blood of Jesus to cleanse him. However, this has nothing to do with who to vote for when given the choice between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

It's not hypocrisy when we are discussing amongst fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. What you're attempting to do is called "whataboutism". Two things can be true and both be terrible: "Biden is a creep who loves to sniff little girls" and "Trump is an unrepentant serial adulterer". It's never a good tactic to resort to "whataboutism" to exonerate or defend someone. "Sure I murdered 10 people... but Hitler killed millions of Jews."
It is not "what aboutism". The point is you have a choice between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Many of these complaints about Trump seem so to me to be complaining about Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist who bit some guys ear off in the ring, when your other candidate is Ted Bundy. Obviously it is relevant what your choice is. I am not interested in judging Trump as a human being, only in making a choice between two men for the office of president.

Fake news. He was friends and partied with Epstein for years... until they had a personal feud over some property. Now what you're attempting to do is give a false choice between two flawed candidates. Trump was the lesser evil in 2016 and 2020... That's like saying, "I'm voting for Adolf Hitler over Mao Zedong because he is only responsible for about 6 million deaths as oppose to 40-60 million lives." Why make it a false choice when you can choose an alternate candidate (DeSantis perhaps...)?
I have no idea what you are trying to do because the only reason I am at all interested in this discussion was because it was a choice between two men. I am not a judge of others, that is the Lord's job. However, as a US citizen it is my responsibility to help select people for various positions to represent the country. I do not get to decide who runs and have little or no influence in who my two choices are. All I am asked to do is pick between two people for the job.

[Side note: I am not comparing Trump to Hitler or Mao Zedong... I'm dismantling your reasoning/argument for why you would pick a flawed candidate over another flawed candidate when there is an option for a candidate with none of that baggage. ]
No, you didn't dismantle anything.

I have heard this drivel and nonsense. When the election comes along you have a responsibility as a citizen to make a choice. There are generally only two people who can win so it is a binary choice. Not voting, in my opinion makes you accountable for the one who is elected. Voting for a third person who will not win can be seen as trying to influence policy, but that only works if you have a third party candidate who might get 5-10% of the vote. In 2016 I had no idea, I knew there was no way I was going to vote for Hillary but the same time could not see voting for Trump. It didn't matter I lived in New York, I knew Hillary would win New York and all of our Electoral college votes. So I didn't vote and decided I would trust the wisdom of the majority. In 2020 it was much simpler, did Trump get us into a war? No. How is the economy? good. So I voted for him.

All this other drivel and nonsense is childish and in my opinion is condemned by the Bible. With what judgement you judge you shall be judged.

Because he advocates for Pence... I'm going to assume he has had many a Trump supporter list reasons why they think he is a bad candidate.

The silly part is that while I agree with most Trump supporters for not being in favor of Pence being the nominee if he decides to run... we get to that conclusion for different reasons. The reasons I hear from Trump supporters is that they "heard" things about him with nothing to substantiate the claims. The other reasons I hear is that he was a coward on Jan. 6th and betrayed Trump. I'm assuming the "betrayal" they are referencing was not rejecting electoral college votes.
you are conflating two different things. I don't vote for Pence because I think he would be a lousy president. However, when people say that he is a good, upstanding Christian that is when I say I am not willing to say that because I have heard things, not inuendos, but first person testimonies. Even Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light so don't assume that the public image of Pence is accurate.

Don't forget Fidelity.
Furthermore, the entire worldwide "financial system" is predicated upon UST liquidity and plunging US taxpayers ever deeper in the abyss of utterly unpayable debts.
Question: is this model sustainable?

I'm not sure if you know what a primary is and how it differs from a presidential election. The reason I'm unsure is because you seem to think it's a choice "between Joe Biden and Donald Trump." This is the false choice you're trying to frame and it's disingenuous. Republicans have more than Donald Trump to choose from. Having said that, are there any disqualifiers for Trump (not exclusively against Biden)? If you want... compare Trump to DeSantis seeing as they will be going head-to-head in a primary before the presidential election ever takes place.

It is not "what aboutism". The point is you have a choice between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. 1.) Trump hasn't won the Republican primary... yet.
2.) Even if Trump wins the Republican primary and faces Biden (if he's still alive/the Democratic nominee), you DO have a choice for someone other than the Republican and Democrat nominees. Maybe you feel the third party candidate is not viable and you would instead prefer to forfeit your morals and standards to vote for the lesser flawed candidate in which case that is your prerogative and it sounds like there aren't ANY disqualifiers for Trump. Whatever Trump has done or could do, Biden has properly already done it and/or done worse.
3.) Hypothetical Scenario:
Given: Trump admits to molesting 3 women in his past. Biden admits to molesting 4 women in his past. Biden and Trump are their party's nominee. It's presidential election time.
Questions:

1.) Do you vote for Trump because of what you believe he stands for and ignore the 3 women he admittedly molested BECAUSE you disagree with Biden's politics AND because he molested more women than Trump?

2.) What sin/crime would Trump have to commit before you disqualified him from your vote if it were against Biden (if any)?

Perhaps your reading comprehension needs some work... Literally, the title of the thread is " Could Trump do anything to make you stop supporting him?" and in your mind you think this discussion "was a choice between two men". I really don't know if you're being disingenuous or you aren't comprehending the purpose of the thread.

Understood. I just want to ask question #2 from the above hypothetical scenario in a different way as well: Does this mean that there isn't anything Trump could do to disqualify him from your vote because you will never vote for Biden and because a 3rd party is not a viable option?

I read the list of things you said he could potentially do, and it was rather witty because you just listed things Biden has done (we agree on those points as well). But it sounds like even if Trump did those same exact things, you would STILL vote for him based on your response in this paragraph (Biden is worse and 3rd party isn't viable).

I'm not conflating anything. I am just giving the reasons why Trump supporters have explicitly and personally told me why they don't support Pence. But I hear you... for you personally, it's not because of things you've heard about Pence as to why you won't vote for him.

This is why I like asking people their beliefs. :giggle:

It’s the strangest thing, why do SO many people prefer an unGODly man over Mike Pence. It boggles my mind.
Who died and made you the judge? You have no idea what is in the hearts of people.

Pence is a virtue signaling goody 2 shoes. Let's discuss what hidden sins he has going on in his mind because that type ALWAYS likes to point the finger at others so that his own little world is not inspected too closely.

You think the only reason people do not care for Pence is because of Trump? In my case, I disliked him from the get go. A little discernment can go a long way and in the end, not because he would not do what Trump asked him to do, but because he now says he will willingly testify against Trump. There were other things, but that just sews up the bag.

Thankfully, he will not win. We don't need another Constantine. You don't create Christianity with an edict.

Sadly, I don't think you swim in deep waters.

Pence is a mature man. Unlike Trump who is a little boy in a man's body. Trump's a psychological and emotional cripple and I shudder to think what'll happen if he gets back in there.
He's a mature goody two shoes who probably believes just the way that you do.

Quelle surprise.

Wow, that is insulting. Trump is ahead of Desantis by what 30 points? All the other supposed choices are 1-2%? Trump has been president and has 4 years that are far better than many others, Desantis doesn't. Technically you may be right but until proven otherwise this is over and Trump is the nominee.

Republicans have more than Donald Trump to choose from. Having said that, are there any disqualifiers for Trump (not exclusively against Biden)? If you want... compare Trump to DeSantis seeing as they will be going head-to-head in a primary before the presidential election ever takes place.
Wasting my time, not interested in this vain exercise.

Here is a hypothetical scenario for you. Joe Biden's fraud department hires out people to go onto Christian forums and poll them about what lies they could craft which would get Evangelicals to not vote for him. However, Jesus is Lord and these ones ultimately have to appear before Jesus where they get righteous judgement, as they have done it will be done to them. And so they are slandered and lies are crafted about them for all eternity as they spend their days in hell.

Perhaps your reading comprehension needs some work... Insults and personal attacks are the last resort for someone who has lost the argument. Why not do the honorable thing and concede rather than join yourself to the slanderer?

Understood. I just want to ask question #2 from the above hypothetical scenario in a different way as well: Does this mean that there isn't anything Trump could do to disqualify him from your vote because you will never vote for Biden and because a 3rd party is not a viable option?

Since I have answered this question extensively giving multiple things that Trump could do to disqualify him I can only see this as being disingenuous. This is why no one will take you seriously. You ignore what we say when it doesn't fit your pathetic narrative.

I read the list of things you said he could potentially do, and it was rather witty because you just listed things Biden has done (we agree on those points as well). Wow, OK, so then you are the one with poor reading comprehension. I said I have two main criteria for a referendum vote, did the President get us into a war, yes or no, and did he do well with the economy yes or no. If the answers are "Yes and No" in that order you vote for the other guy, if the answers are "No and Yes" in that order you reelect him.

But you aren't interested in what I say or think, you simply want to create your liddle straw man so you can tear it down. Pathetic.

We agree then, Trump hasn't won the primary and yet you are still wanting to frame the choices between Trump and Biden. I applaud you for giving a meniscal bit of reasoning why you would support Trump over DeSantis (Trump has 4 years of executive experience). Using that elementary reasoning and logic though... how many years experience did Trump have prior to 2016? Why wasn't that a disqualifier as it is for DeSantis? While DeSantis doesn't have any executive experience on the federal level, he has been a masterful executive leader on the state level... I'd argue the best governor I've seen in my lifetime.

Wasting my time, not interested in this vain exercise.
Taking a page from the Democrats. No worries, you're not obligated to answer. Why answer something someone is explicitly asking when you can just answer things they aren't asking?

Was there a question in there somewhere?

Insults and personal attacks are the last resort for someone who has lost the argument. Why not do the honorable thing and concede rather than join yourself to the slanderer?
It was a personal attack to show your lack of comprehension? You're offended I recalled the actual title of the thread and then quoted your misunderstanding of what the discussion actually is? My woke friends get like that sometimes when I correct them and/or use facts to make my point... They just play victim when they can't respond substantively.

You speak for everyone else?

But you also said you wouldn't vote for Biden or a 3rd party... So if Trump were to do those things on the list (Joe Biden's list), are you saying you just wouldn't vote?

Wow, OK, so then you are the one with poor reading comprehension. So because Trump didn't get us into war and the economy was doing well pre-covid (we both agree on this), then "you re-elect him" even if he later admits to molesting women and comes out as a pansexual transgender woman? Those wouldn't be disqualifiers for you, correct?

Trump had four long years to execute his executive power according to this exemplar.
Yet he failed to take decisive and much needed action. This includes Dominion machines and what he definitely knew to be institutionalized election fraud (see his executive orders pertaining to this crisis).

THIS is what needs to happen. It cost Trump the election and he is suffering for his inaction to this very day.

I hope everyone watches that video. This is what we need in a leader. Fearless to those who don't do their duty and accountable to those that elected him in office. It appears the only knock on this guy is that he doesn't have presidential experience... but how does one get experience if you need experience to be elected in? :sneaky:

"If you have been in a poker game for a while, and you still don’t know who the patsy is, you’re the patsy."

Trump was the patsy. He though the presidency was a reality show. His enemies on the other hand were playing for keeps and literally destroyed him.
