The "strength" of FE folks is the ability to look past the deception and see things as they really are.

No - they believe that the earth is a globe - they do not know that the earth is a globe.
So pilots have to get from point A to point B. They have to calculate fuel load depending on the type of aircraft, weight of the load, and distance to travel. The FE model gives entirely different distances compared to the actual distances on the globe. Perhaps the pilot of the MH370 became a FE convert. That would explain why he landed in the Indian Ocean instead of his actual destination. This is reality, not FE fantasy. The real world really does know that the earth is a globe.

Have you ever been on an international flight on a commercial aircraft? Have you ever measured flight times from where you took off the where you landed? Then compared the flight time to the non-existent FE map? Of course you have not. You would be proven wrong and we can't have that.

Some arguments will continue as long as there is someone to argue against, or as long as one can find anybody to agree with him so he can build confirmation bias.

Sometimes the only way to win an argument is to realize there is no reason to care about winning it.

the only way to win is not to play, to quote the old movie " war games"

I don't understand why anybody would believe in a globe earth when it's clearly a pizza.

Planets are pizzas!
I thought it was "Fitness..."

Of course they do have pizza day at Planet Fitness, or so I've heard.

How come people still believe the earth is flat when there is no evidence to support the claim and plenty to prove that it is a globe?
Are you saying that you actually believe that those earth images are real unedited singular photographs of the earth???

Now - don't give me any around-the-bush avoidance crap - just answer the question honestly - yes or no - do you believe that those images are real?

Okay, you have done this to death. How about contributing to the thread in a meaningful way?
Look I get it that my pizza argument is lost on anyone but true pizza connoisseurs. But I refuse to give up until everyone is sucked into my cockamamie beliefs!

Planets are pizzas!

Gotcha. It’s a bit cheesy, but at least it’s made for sharing.

NASA states that the images are composite. They also say why. So yes, they are edited. It makes no difference to the facts. The earth is a globe.

How can you know the 'facts' when the 'proof' is admittedly fake? I'll give you this much. It takes more faith then trusting Christ for salvation, but I'd be very careful putting more faith in man than in God.

Why is it that - in 60+ years - NASA has not ever produced a real unedited singular photograph of the earth???

Why do you consider a "composite" as "fake"? If the result is composed of real images stitched together to minimize distortion and maximize image and subject quality, what is the concern? Unless, of course, you have a pre-existing bias against the possibility of the real subject....

To be honest, I hadn’t even considered the possibility of anyone believing in FE before actually seeing people writing lengthy comments about it here. I still kinda think they’re just messing with us ball earth people, but I’m starting to doubt it.

I think the lack of elementary knowledge of physics, mathematics and geography plays a major role in the FE viewpoints. I don’t think many (any) of them have experience in navigation or have been serving in the naval forces or air forces. I’m pretty sure none of them are pilots or sailors, to put it mildly.
