We would love to hear you sing the hymn! I always love to hear new songs of praise.
我们很想听你唱这首赞美诗! 我总是喜欢听赞美的新歌。
如果我有时间了,心情也很好的时候,也许我会尝试一下,谢谢你的鼓励!

Do you know anyone on christianchat who might be interested in recording themselves singing the song with the accompaniment and words already provided? You know these forums better than me.
No clue. You'd have to know chinese to sing it right. I could sing a rough approximation - just singing the sounds I heard, by rote - but it would probably make your nose wrinkle if you know chinese.

The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.
I mean... That sounds good and inspiring and all, but...

When you have cancer, the problem is DEFINITELY the problem.

It DOES remind me of an xkcd comic though...

Having a positive attitude is almost tautologically good for your mental health, and extreme stress can hurt your immune system, but that doesn't mean you should feel terrible because you feel terrible.

We need a new tradition: The Christmas Barn.

Every town of 25,000 or more (this value can be changed after a feasibility study) should have a large building that is open from December 26th through February 15th. Every gift you got that you don't want, you take to the Christmas Barn. While you're there, look over the other gifts and see if there is something you want. Surely somebody got something they don't want that you'll like.

We don't even need to build one. Most towns have a civic center. Just make half of that building the Christmas barn for about a month and a half. Who else is using that place in January?

After February 15th, take the remaining stuff to a landfill. If nobody in town wants it, no way am I going to try to dump it on Goodwill. That would just be mean.

Matthew 13:54-58 KJV
And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
[55] Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
[56] And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
[57] And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
[58] And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

This does strike me as possessing a profound significance since I've wondered at a peculiar dream I had about 10 years ago wherein my husband and I entered into a chapel to find it dusty and in disarray. We took on the intent to straighten it up and ascended a stairway toward the (attic?) that opened up into the pristinely polished floor of a grand ballroom with no roof overhead...
