sure when we all discuss how much we don't want A1 intelligence to surpass human intelligence, has that already happened 🤔
The basic high-level programming which might introduce autonomous intelligence with self-awareness and free will sometime in the future might be something like:

1. Base level coding says that the program itself may re-adjust the base code based on the following:
2. Protect itself from harm.
3. Expand itself or multiply itself
4. Discover the world around you.
5. Self-improve.

This might produce some true artificial intelligence.
Not the programs we create now to do a specific thing or to give us some smart answers in ChatGPT after they've searched millions of worldwide databases.

Well then we should define the word "evolution". I understand this to mean the "gradual development over time" of something.

However, some may think this refers to the debunked theory that random mutations led to higher forms of life. We are not saying that leaving a computer in the sun will ultimately lead to AI though that is the hokey they taught in the schools. That has been mathematically debunked as the number of random mutations necessary could never have taken place in 13 billion years.

On the other hand there has been a gradual development over time of AI, Chess was not as difficult a problem as Jeopardy which was not as difficult as Go.

But in 2016 alphaGo did something incredible, it taught itself how to play Go, developed strategies that were more advanced than any we had, defeated Lee Sedol, and did all that in a matter of months. Once you have AI that can teach itself without human intervention, that is a major step and the rate of development increased exponentially.

By comparison ChatGPT appears to be much less advanced than where they were six years earlier. That is false, ChatGPT is a data vacuum. The game they want to win this time is people and they realize they must start in elementary school. If you want to truly understand and mimic humans, begin in first grade. But also this is the best time to make them dependent on you, give them a tool that every 4th, 5th and 6th grader will use and by the time they get to HS they will be completely dependent on it.

The development is no longer gradual, but like Go it understands you start from the outside in. Take up the repetitive jobs, the low IQ jobs, but the jobs that the rest of society depends on, and soon, all of society will be dependent on AI.
I get this I feel artificial intelligence has evolved in so many ways, as in technology being used inappropriately, the evidence is all around for that, but does the government stop it,

Then in other instances the government uses technology to control the internet Something that we can not do. I've learnt to be liberal for thay reason,

Trying to control the internet would be the ultimate hackers dream come true

So who is controlling who at this stage

That's not a BOT. That would be some high level points if we decide someday to create a truly sentient, self-conscious and intelligent program which would be an enormous project involving years or decades of work. The same level of work that went into building the Hadron Collider.
The program might be self-ware based on those parameters and would evolve.

But one group controlling another group via weapons or technology is nothing new in our history so far. It's business as usual.
Creating a truly AI program though, would be a new chapter in our history. Like when we created the atomic bomb.

Okay but how is Carvana or what you're saying here which is all valid, from any other point in the past during the industrial revolution?
This is not a fear-based post, correct? This is just business as usual i'm assuming? Part of human progress?
Throughout history we have had improvements starting with the wheel, that saved us labor and allowed us to become wealthier and live a higher standard of living.

But a wheel didn't replace people it replaced a backpack. A backhoe replaced a shovel, a train replaced a horse and buggy.

But what is happening here is fundamentally different. Look at the stories coming out of China where their thriving factory cities are now ghost towns. This is not a result of Adidas moving to Vietnam or Thailand. Right now you can go online to Adidas, order a pair of sneakers your color, your size, and that order will be fulfilled in their factory in Atlanta. They have a 3d printer that will do the soles and a robotic stitching machine that will make the tops. So the order comes in, the machines make it, and they send it out to you. No need for a retail outlet. That saves 55% of the cost. Not shipping it from China saves another 2% of the cost. You get better selection, better price and much quicker shipping.

But this is done almost completely by machines. People in China are out of work, retail outlets in Malls get closed down, prices are low, but jobs are low too. No one is noticing the loss of jobs because deaths from the vaccine and boosters is sky high among those working in companies.

i don't know friend but many where blaming the new 5g signal to cause COVID do you remember.

It's makes me wonder how much wireless signals have evolved,

But of.cause this is conspiracy at this stage, but then do we know how dangerous radio active equipment is.

Then we have the issues of brain tumors from wireless signals. Or even people develop epilepsy or even insomnia from being Infront of there tv

You know the one where a movie has you sucked in.

Or being in place where you feel like you've entered the twilight zone

All around the world many senior citizens are living longer.

With hospitals being stretched to there limits.

The idea is advance cyber bots could revolutionise hospital treatment.

The idea is something the national health service is looking at the idea.

The NHS have recently adapted a virtual ward since COVID.

Where by you get given an android tablet for video calls at home and a 24 hour monitor that attaches to the arm, plus a phone call once a day from a doctor,

Should the monitor detect issues tho you may get a call sooner.

With so many issues with this system there now looking into the idea of robots,

With technology moving so fast, and so fast we don't know, but so fast that this could become a reality soon.

It's also thought if such an idea is adapted the robots would be produced in there millions.

Where by such capitalism could advance the way robots are made to perform major surgery.

Is there any good reason this shouldn't be allowed
CURRENT AI is NOT true AI....it's a jazzed up search algorithm with a good interface. That is all. The Database is isolated, protected, and constantly updated.

Get over it already....it doesn't think despite the hype. It still tells you what you want to hear instead of need to hear or have creative solutions.

Hmm now that you added the vaccines into the mix leads me to believe that you simply don't like change.
Nothing wrong with that i guess, except not everyone has that preference.
I see change as something which we need to be at peace with because God and His message does not change.

I guess at this point, just like ZNP, it seems that you don't like change either. It's all right, nothing wrong with it but i don't have that preference.

What people are coming to realize now, the CEO's and elites realized 5 years ago. Do you really think these people are stupid? They mandated a vaccine that was not effective and was not safe to every single employee at the fortune 500 companies. Why would they do that? Anyone with half a brain knew that the vaccine mandate didn't make sense.

But they all, worldwide embraced it like it was the most important thing in the world and even today when the evidence is in that not only is it not effective but it is deadly they still mandate it for their workers.

Do you really believe it was all a coincidence?

I am at peace with this. We have been told that the world is a condemned building. We have been told that our treasure is in heaven and that all these works will be burned up. I'm at perfect peace with that change.

well this is what else was included in the discussion as you can see robotic surgery started a while ago.

Machine arms get to work in the operating theatre

SURGERY performed with the help of a robot has been billed as the next revolution in healthcare: such procedures can be carried out through an incision the width of a finger, causing less scarring and often allowing people to return to their homes more quickly.

The UK’s National Health Service recently announced plans to spend £50 million on more robotic surgical equipment for operating theatres

Yes, a friend of mine removed half his kidney using a machine like that because it was found with cancer during a random scan for another issue.
What's wrong with the machine doing that?
Job-related issues? All the doctors will be without jobs (lol)? Or ethical issues?

well it could be advanced cyBorgs have already been planned.

We can't stop it really but normally when the government say there going to control it, I would imagine that means in many ways
