You keep denying how who the "us" are saved through.

In Him is the key. That's the predestined plan, in Him.
I am not denying anything. Can you stay on target. If you have a question, then ask... but I grow weary of these snipets.

Wow aren't you getting snarky. A little out of character for you.

You know the answers to your question because you know where I stand. So what's the point? I will say this: If God placed the Elect in Christ before the foundation of the world, then how would the elect individual frustrate His Grace. Do you think a person has the ability to undo what God has done?

The Father put His Elect in Christ.... you will become a believer. Otherwise, God is not God. Simple.
well now hang on there

I think we are all getting to know each other better

you know....like building stones

any other ideas when he chose man to be holy and blameless.

Well I'll give you a hint it was all man created in one man, whose choice was that

Oh and it's not a trick question I'm just asking if you know 🙂
Okay... You seem to not know what a "Federal Head" is. So I will say it this way, as Scripture says it. All of mankind was in the first Adam when he "FELL". Thus he was our Federal Head. All that will experience Salvation are in the Second Adam -- Jesus Christ.

Are you not even following the conversation in which you are engaged?

Irresistible grace is irrevocably tied to people believing they had no choice.

It is the thread topic matter after all.

ahem...if I may

what I was actually getting at, is the nouveau (at least to me) doctrine that we have 2 classes of believers according to some

we have the elect, that have no choice and God sent them to earth basically already saved (yes that was actually said but in another thread and I can look for it if the author denies it I suppose)

and then we have the proliteriat who can choose....kind of like festivus for the rest of us

no mention of Calvinsim because that is not in the recipie

I thought we might get it sorted it out, but things are worse than I thought. :cautious:

sorry...

Snipets, it says chose believers (us) in HIM before the foundation.
You clearly have to ignore the in HIM portion to create your viewpoint.

In Him wouldn't happen for another 4,000 years.

The choice was God but you still can be like Job was encouraged to do which was to curse God and die.
Well Job waa someone God knew would not curse him.

Job knew God loved him,.but how did he know.

How did he know not to curse God.

That was obviously a choice given to Job and it was so obviously a law for all man, remember i showed you the voice of God speaks to everyone

Was it Jobs choice like any other man he had all knowledge of Good and evil.

I'm not sure you know where I'm going

So I'll tell you what my main concern is

I see it's about surrendering to his choice and his knowledge,

Not out of choice but out of surrendering

I see surrendering to his will and choice not having anything to do with your choice or mine but everything to do with the knowledge we already have.

That's the code in which I live by which is consistent right through out the bible

I'm not sure you understand what life of all mankind was in Adam.

Where was Adam first created and was the life of all mankind holy and blameless there

And what was the life all mankind there

It seems you are introducing two different topics. Irresistible Grace does not cover both. Irresistible Grace has to do with a person's Regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Which will lead to Repentance and Faith but not apart from the Gospel message.

The inability to believe, is covered under "Spiritual Depravity." That is all mankind died spiritually in the Fall and will experience physical death. Thus, Regeneration is required before one is able to understand the Gospel message and move of their own will towards Christ.

Does this answer it for you? If not, I will take more questions.
I did not introduce two different topics, since I am questioning you on what you said, when
you called having no choice in the matter of belief a crazy idea... and also hogwash.

What you said here: You are asking about some crazy idea that some can't choose salvation
because they are Elected and others can. I think everyone would agree this notion is hogwash.

But I am also curious about regeneration and its relationship to one's choice in salvation.

Some say regeneration is being born again, at which point a person is saved, and yet here you have said regeneration simply makes it possible to move toward Christ, which in my mind, means they have not yet been born again/saved because they are as yet devoid of faith. I could be wrong, and there is a lot of "ink" given to this particular aspect of salvation. So my question to you along this line of thought would be, does regeneration in your view equal being born again? Is it tied to circumcision of the heart, and if so, how, or is it the same thing, or does that happen later? And if it happens later, and it is not regeneration, what is entailed, in your view, in regeneration? Please accept my apologies for asking so many questions on this topic, as they do seem to all be inextricably linked and/or related.

Because she deserved it. And I truly hope she knows it,

*Shrug* Thumbs down and other negative reaction emojis don't bother me. :)

I mean, good grief! It's just emojis! WHO CARES??? Lol! :D

I don't know if you realize but I was trying to calm you down. You were starting to act like a caged animal.

I'm wondering why you're being vindictive though. You were the one who introduced a false concept and then made false accusations against other people to try to save face. You're not abiding in Christ in any of that. Aren't you worried what God will do to you if you continue to disobey Him in this? Because if you're really His child, He would not want you to continue to deal with this in such an ungodly manner and will have to discipline you.

So just calm down. This doesn't have to get worse!
