What does that mean being sealed with the spirit until the day of redemption ?
To the one who puts their faith in Christ God gives a new undefiled spirit, and locks out any corruption from entering that new spirit until the day of that soul's resurrection.

Sealing is outward, not inward. No one places a seal on the inside of the letter. It is always placed on the outside, and it confirms and authenticates what is on the inside.

I addressed earlier the difference between being baptized BY the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ...1 Corinthians 12:13, and the baptism WITH the Holy Spirit done by Christ...Matthew 3:11...and spoken of in Ephesians 1:13.
But none of that happens until you believe which happens when we hear the Gospel (multiple verses show us this)

There's not a single verse that shows the Holy Spirit fills us before we believe.

There's several (I'm presenting 2) that show as we hear the Holy Spirit comes upon us and then becoming saved/some cases Speaking in Tongues.

44 While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word.
45 And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.
46 For they were hearing them speaking in tongues and extolling God

13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit

It's not true that nothing happens before. The things you mention are merely the signs and seals that occur outwardly. They are the shadows of what has occurred inwardly. Look at Acts 2:37 and you find the inward work of the circumcision of the heart that removes the veil and brings understanding. This is what the later outward affirmation points to.

You make more of the seal itself than salvation.

You have NO BIBLE to prove what you say and I have many scriptures to prove what I say.

Why should I believe you when you have NO BIBLE to back you but human reasoning?

Acts 2:37 is because they HEARD and believed like Acts 10 and Ephesians 1:13 claims that I HAVE PROVIDED to You!

Your usage of Acts 2:37 just PROVES my point!

The Gospel does.

And People can believe or pick up stones and kill Stephen after the pricking.

So you saying they killed Stephen by the Holy Spirit because they were pricked in their hearts the same when those in Acts 2:37 were pricked, in Acts 10, Ephesians 1:13?

It was the fulfillment of Joel 2:28 on the day of Pentecost.
Well, if you consider der context of Joel 2,28 then pentecost was a parttime fulfillment.
So as Paul says the coming of the Lord is near. From his view he expectet it. But we know that there are gone nearly 2000 years.

If one day = 1,000 years given as example twice in the Bible then by Bible Logic 2,000 years = 2 days to God.

2 days to God seems pretty short to me.

You are conflating what happened in Acts 7 with what happened in Acts 2. They are very different reactions based on different words. In Acts 2, the hearts were pricked. In Acts 7, they were severed.
While the language is similar, it is different. This is to highlight the difference in response when God is working and the response of the natural man to the Gospel.
It is worth noting, the natural man responding to the word of God reminds of the response of Pharoah, who hardened his heart.
And we always find one of these 2 responses to the Gospel. One evidences the work of the Spirit employing the word and enlightening or His absence and a still severed heart that rejects the Gospel call.

I addressed earlier the difference between being baptized BY the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ...1 Corinthians 12:13, and the baptism WITH the Holy Spirit done by Christ...Matthew 3:11...and spoken of in Ephesians 1:13.
“the baptism WITH the Holy Spirit done by Christ.”

“and, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. ( John chaoter14) For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:4-5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a few days later

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire,( he shall baotize you with fire ) and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, ( and with the Holy Ghost ) and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. But Peter, standing up……. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; ( this is the baptism of the Holy Ghost by Jesus from heaven ) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh( Jesus did this ) And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:2-4, 14, 16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a here’s why they received the spirit as Peter co to use to explain filled with the spirit

“This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:32-33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

When we receive the Holy Ghost that’s what John meant by ( he will baptize you with the Holy Ghost ) it’s why Jesus said to them later in a few days you’ll be baptized with the holy ghost wait for the promise I made to you before you go witness the gospel “ it’s also why as we read on we see pentocost happen when this is fulfilled

“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭

the very first thing Peter says when asked “what should we do ? “ is tell them this

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38-39, 41-43, 47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

one has ever heard Paul’s epistles yet but people are being added daily to the church through baptism of repentance and remission of sins in Jesus name , and receiving the promise ( baptism of ) of the Holy Ghost remission of sins is what baptism is about in Christ who died for our sins to remit them the Holy Ghost comes by belief of the gospel message about Jesus

The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ:( the gospel of the kingdom ) (he is Lord of all:) that word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judæa, and began from Galilee, ( Jesus began preaching the gospel ) after the baptism which John preached; ( John preached the baptism of repentance and remission of sins and he also preached faith in Christ who was to come soon ) how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; ( he’s summarizing the gospel accounts we have in the. I le of Jesus life ministry death and resurrection ect ) for God was with him.

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; ( the gospels are their account of these eye witnesses mark soecifically is much of peters witness ) whom they slew and hanged on a tree: him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:36-40, 42-44‬ ‭

They’ve already received the spirit through hearing the gospel and believing the very first thing Peter commands theses gentiles is baptism in Jesus name the same thing he told Jews in chapter 2 mentioning specifically water baptism in his name

“For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭10:46-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

baptism is a doctrine God sent into the world that the apostles explained well it’s meant to be something we hear about them gladly do with thanks . It’s a simplicity God said “ believe the gospel and get baptized and I’ll be saved “

It’s meant to be an act of faith we partake of because God told us about baptism in His name for repentance and remission of sins in the gospel.

“Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:35-39‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s reletively obvious the lord was leading these men to baptize on water by the spirit he gave them baptism is a gift from God for believers

Well, if you consider der context of Joel 2,28 then pentecost was a parttime fulfillment.
So as Paul says the coming of the Lord is near. From his view he expectet it. But we know that there are gone nearly 2000 years.
Its helpful to read Paul and Peter together regarding subjects

“that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:2-4, 7-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:2-3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:38-39, 42‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s part of the doctrine that he could come at any point. Just as they believed them we should believe now it presses us forward into repentance and diligence in Christ vigilance as we grow up

“Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:35-37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The Bible teaches believers an urgency towards repentance before it’s too late

“and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Notice this is summarizing key points of the gospel

“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; ( the gospel teaches us this ) looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; ( also this tbat he’s coming back again )

who gave himself for us, ( and this also the gospels teach) that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”( indeed the lord also and his apostles teach this )
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:11-14‬ ‭

We differ about baptism. I see 4 separate baptisms in the word of God. And I believe it is the Spirit who baptizes us into Christ...1 Corinthians 12:13. I believe this occurs when the heart undergoes circumcision.
Salvation itself was actually accomplished at the cross. It is made known to us what God has done for us in Christ when what we think of as "saved" actually occurs for us in space and time. But it was decided in eternity past when our names were recorded in Book of Life and we were placed "in Him" before the foundation of the world.
Luke 15 has a parable commonly known as the parable of the prodigal son. It is actually a 3 part parable explaining the roles of the Trinity in salvation.

It's very often the case when men make such statements that they are actually revealing what is true of themselves.

But I know you have NO VERSES to back what you say.
You just type your thoughts or someone else's based on human logic/doctrine.
I always present the scripture Hear, then Holy Spirit moves.
So take your circular reasoning and try it on someone who can't see you coming 10,000 miles away like I am able to (y)

It's false to say I haven't shared scripture, because it is interwoven into my posts. You may disagree with my understanding, but I have given my understanding based on scripture.
Further, it is easy to show from scripture that it is God who initates relationship with man and not the other way around.
Adam didn't approach God.
Noah didn't approach God.
Abraham didn't seek out God.
Saul didn't seek out God.
The 3,000 that got saved at Pentecost didn't seek out God.

If you look at the NT, those who sought Jesus did so in faith. They were already saved, and exercising faith. Jesus, Himself, is called the good Shepherd and came to SEEK and to save.

Salvation occurs when God draws nigh and by the Spirit and the word convert the wayward soul.

Adam was the first man so no reason to use him.

Noah had a Great Grandfather named Enoch who was a preacher. Noah was living for God.

Abraham is Noah's great Grandson Interesting God used the lineage of Enoch). Book of Jasher says Abraham learned of God from Noah and Shem.

Saul was there listening to Stephen preach. He heard the Gospel.

The 3,000 was there because the Jewish Holiday so there would have been many people there no matter what.
