I was never here.

Duly noted that your nick is Cold, with a picture of ice cream consumption...

I don't think you'll get people to believe you were never here.

Better eat it fast though, before it melts. That is way too much ice cream for that size bowl.

I'm not saying it's too much ice cream. I'm saying you should have used a bigger bowl.

Sometimes all the bigger bowls are dirty and you make mistakes by not eating straight out of the container.

And sometimes portion control is buying ice cream in pints instead of 2 qt ( or I think most of them are 1.5 qt anymore) containers

Hey Everyone,

Every now and then, I'll see an advertisement for an old-fashioned "Ice Cream Social," and it brings back memories of my childhood church.

It got me thinking I thought, "Why not bring all the fun and flavors of an Ice Cream Social right here to the Singles Forum?"

And so, with that in mind, we need to know everyone's thoughts in deciding all the crucial details, such as:

1. Will servers be required to wear uniforms?

2. What varieties of ice cream should be served?

A. Hard-Pack, Hand-Scooped:

B. Soft Serve:

Or,

C. Ice Cream Bars?

3. What flavors would you like to see served? For our married friends, do you and your spouse like the same flavors, or have very different preferences?

And finally:

4. Does anyone have any memories of an ice cream truck (with its soulful siren song blaring) in your neighborhood, and did your family ever use to buy from them? Any stories of begging your parents, and maybe now you're the parent and the kids are begging you? :D

Come one, come all, and join us in the Singles Forum for some delightfully frozen fun! :D
1. Uniforms would be nice. My phone first though I was writing unicorns and they would be nice too.

2. Definitely Hard Pack, though the kind with real stuff in it, not just artificial flavorants and colors. In fact, organic should be obtained where possible.

Some ice cream bars world be good too have on the menu as well, but soft serve is for McDonald's.

3. Cookie dough, real strawberry, something with caramel and chocolate. Be sure not to over-pronounce the 'a' on caramel.

Really, make sure we have lots of syrups and toppings. I like chocolate and caramel both on my sundae and I'm not really a cone person anyway.

4. Sort of. And then we discovered I was allergic to food coloring and about all they had were nuclear-looking popsicles and no real ice cream. Praise be to God that I have since been healed, but I still want real ice cream and not that artificial nonsense.

I too now wish there to be unicorns in this establishment. Though I disagree on the soft serve statement. McDonald's ice cream is a treasure!

Carmel is a mountain over in the middle east...
