...therefore, between God and you in Spirit and Truth ask God to permit this...
Sorry, but you will need to be much clearer in your posts. I simply could not understand how this post tied into the title of this thread

So in no way does the original post apply to you or any Christian? And no part of Hebrews or James was meant for any Christian but only unsaved Jews? So there is no part of Hebrews or James that can be applied to any Christians and is no use to us at all?

Complete insanity.
Of no use to you, okay, go forest go

These were all questions, since I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
Notice, I did not say, Run Forest Run
I get it, thank you. We as people of flesh strain out gnats and swallow camels. I have been too literal too
God loves us all, otherwise that cross would not ever, ever happened, All God left is for us to cross over with Father and Son as Won to be One with them as One in the same love and mercy given on that cross to all.
I see math here, 1x1x1x1x1x1x = one forever does it not?
Amazing isn't it to see God loves us all ,in spite of our ignorances and knowing as well, since we all are first born to know good and evil from first day of birth on earth, to see we need life one day consciously, Born alive and find out not alive to God in the first birth, to decide to believe God or not. and be new in the risen Son living his done work through us to all.
At least me, thanks

Because we live in a fallen world... if every person that believers prayed over was healed, then very few people would ever die.
That was not a "get out of jail free" card... it was instructions about how to go about petitioning God for miraculous intervention.
I have seen miraculous healings of illness as well, but I've also seen deaths... doesn't shake my faith.
Yep good points

That's the entire point of the book of James. James is writing to open their eyes to their coming Messiah. It will be a pivotal message for the twelve tribes in the last days during the tribulation. They missed out on him the first time. It is obvious that at least some of the audience had not received the word and their souls are not saved.

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
It’s for all of us

The book of James itself refutes your nonsense.
Of his own will begat he us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. (Jas 1:18) See 1 Peter 1 23-25 for a matching statement to BELIEVERS. The "begetting" here is "born again" in Peter. And only genuine children of God have been born again. So James is addressing REGENERATED people.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (Jas 1:27) This can only be addressed to BELIEVERS. Unbelievers know nothing about pure religion or Christian love.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. (Jas 2:1) Only BELIEVERS are "brethren" who have faith in Christ.

We could go on and on, but you will never give up your false ideas (which you have repeated many times).

No. For us today. Pretty sure the Jews weren’t discussing baptisms, laying on of hands 🙄
most of the first Christians, including the ones Hebrews was originally written to, were Jews

Begat us again? That's the nation of Israel. God had begotten them out in the wilderness.

And you believe that when elders pray over the sick and anoint them with oil they are healed every time. Can you please have these elders visit the nearest cancer hospital.
