I know you were gone from the forum for a while (and I'm so glad you came back!) ❤️ So in the entire time you've been here, you've been whip smart with a sense of humor to match. You've survived the military AND law enforcement. You speak at least two languages -- so fluently that you're able to joke, converse, and throw down witty dialogue in your second language!!!
I can't even comprehend how much intelligence that must take!!! I've always marveled at just SPEAKING another language -- but to be able to translate humor as well?! I've talked to several multi-lingual people who have said that's one of the hardest things to accomplish in another language.
I love the things you share! And I learn a lot from you, which means you are absorbing everything that's said, because you're able to process it and respond back in a way that really cuts to the chase with other people.

I really appreciate you saying this. I grew up with only my mother and didn’t get to know my father until I was an adult. I think that has shaped me into something not so graceful.

We're so blessed to have a really good crowd right now.
CC really comes and goes in waves. Sometimes we'll have a crowd that doesn't talk so much or doesn't seem to blend, and then sometimes... We get really fun, interesting people like the ones here who actively participate and harmonize well.
The past couple weeks here on the forum have been the most fun I've had here in a long time.
It's not the forum's fault at all -- these days, people have so many other places to choose from -- but it's been truly a blessing to have such a lively crowd here lately.

* And like with Susanna, I've known here long enough to be able to threaten to throw heavy things at her.
* Lynx... Sometimes I leave him angry or thumbs down emojis because I know I can mess with him!
* And Snackersmom -- if I stepped out of line and she told me to go to my room, I'd have to choice but to hang my head and go!

I always knew this place as a forum with a chatroom on the side. I often wondered why it was called Christian Chat instead of Christian Forum.
So the chat room came first, eh? That explains a lot.
And to answer your question, the chat side has been out of order for a long time and we have no indication it will be restored any time soon.
