are more attractive apparently.:eek: At least that's what I hear. So my questions are...
Do you agree?
Are there other things that make guys more attractive to women?
Is there an equivalence for women in this situation?
This is just a fun discussion thread...I mean no offense at all! It doesn't mean car drivers are unattractive.

These days it's more like guys with iphones. A guy with an android is too poor to get an iphone, thus beneath consideration.

For girls, a guy looks for one who will give him compliments. Many guys are not very consciously aware that they look for this, so a lot of girls can really play up the compliments to get a guy easily.

Guys with dogs, especially puppies
Guys with babies

(I didn't come up with this stuff, and I don't have a dog or a baby)

I must be really out of the loop, because I never knew that women are supposed to be looking for guys with trucks!

God put it on my heart to try to study personal finance... Which lead to me joining some Discord chats with mostly young guys (20's - 30's.) I never really say anything, I'm just there to listen (some of these guys are REALLY smart when it comes to analyzing a company's fundamentals and balance sheets, which is what I'm trying to learn.) I'm also in a few chats with older guys as well (40's - 70's and up.) And from what I can tell, it seems like expectations (or at least, the stereotypes of them,) are always the same.

Guys want the hottest girl in the room (and there are loud complaints when their real-life appearance doesn't match their filtered-to-the-hilt social media thirst trap pictures.)

In turn, the guys lament the fact that women apparently all want men with fat wallets (which is why some of them are investing.) I guess that's where the truck comes in? I guess they assume a man with a truck is rugged, knows how to take care of business, and if he can afford a truck, must have plenty of money to spend.

I never like stereotypes on either side, as I've never paid much attention to what we're all "supposed" to like.

And apparently I don't measure up to the truck analogy either, as one guy in chat always complained very loudly (as a joke) whenever I posted a screenshot ("EEEWWWW, you have an ANDROID, YUCK!!") Lol!

Unfortunately, he dropped out of chat and I wish he wouldn't have. He was funny and would tell the other guys to stop watching porn, saying it would ruin their relationship with a woman (and I don't even know if he was a professing Christian.)

It was just really cool to see someone trying to go against the grain.

I'd be a lot more attracted to that rather than a truck -- just saying.

Well...

There's always "fake it till you make it."

(Strong "Android is soooooo much better than iPhone" vibe there, but still some good advice on changing your desktop screen to look like an iPhone's.)

This is a rather odd thing.
We men view standard trucks as we do blue jeans. Just something we need. It's utilitarian for our needs whether we really need it or not.

Now an oversized truck is something completely different. You either really need it and its a dirty work vehicle for hauling huge trailers and equipment....and you loath driving it to meet up with the guys. You certainly do not drive it to the golf course or fishing hole. The boat dock you could depending on the boat...but probably not.
OR
Oversized trucks clean and shiny with nice rims and tires which are jacked up.... If you drive it everywhere for everything then you are compensating for some physical deficiency. Micro_______.

Kinda like jeeps before. Homosexual men somehow believed driving a box jeep with the rag top was their beard. Truth was only women and homosexual men drove them.
The SUV became the soccer mom vehicle instead of the minivan and guys that drove them were "hen pecked". (Wife got to drive the sports car)

Sure, you can glam up a maxima....but it is reaching. Still no manliness to it.

I got an Android but mainly it's for my wife. I rarely use the thing. My phone plan is Tracfone. I'm past the stage where I really care about compliments from girls. Except from my wife, of course.

My experience has been women like the idea of being married, but not necessarily to the person they're married to.

Like all things gender related, it's about the individual. There may be a portion or type that think this way about men driving trucks, but that's all it is. A number of women. The rest don't care or completely disagree.
The only group of women I've seen that are like this are redneck women. But the men also typically like trucks as well. So it makes sense. But I'm sure not all of them think this way.
Chances are if you keep hearing a group share the same attraction for men/women with certain features or cars or phones or whatever, it's just a matter of them grouping together due to being similar to one another. Which can lead to a skewed view if that's the only place you draw information from.

It would depend on how he uses the truck. If he needs a truck to feel macho and gets out of the truck expecting girls to pass out, then no, not cool. But, if he's known for occasionally helping someone move or clear debris with his truck, then ya👍 lol

Depends on what you define as winning. By some metrics those people are enormously successful.

Of course I have much different metrics, but those are the standards by which success is measured in the world. You can't blame them for believing what everybody around them says is true.

The heifer said "I don't like this boundary and the grass sure is greener on the other side of the fence."
She figured a way to squeeze through it to the other side....
.....only to find out that it was a septic tank.
Then she got stuck and couldn't get back. The place stunk, the grass was always muddy and tasted like poo. Such are the ways of the adulterer.

18And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle. 19And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house. 20But Samson's wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend.

My brother has a truck for show.
I don't know of any time he used it for anything other than transportation. I asked for a hand moving my equipment out of my store front that I started to finance a health ministry to bless our Mother and those in need. The building owner did me wrong and raised the rent 9X what he promised.
Brother didn't want to lend a hand. He had it less than a year and ordered a brand new one as Mom was dying. He picked it up at the dealership the day after she died. Then had a bunch of extras added aftermarket.
That's just one example of what a lot of guys use like a sports car, but have no true utility for other than status.

BTW, the nurses at the hospital were enamored with him in the cop uniform. So, some are attracted to that.
Yes, he's married with children.
