Hey Everyone,

This thread is based on a classic oldie but goodie by a former user -- Arwen -- whom we miss:

https://christianchat.com/christian-singles-forum/im-looking-for-a-sheep.53721/

This was at a time when several people in Singles were writing threads saying that they were looking for a potential husband or wife. An especially enthusiastic member boldly proclaimed that he was looking for his "Missing Rip," and because of his awesome sense of humor over the misspelling, it became a Legendary Singles Forum joke. :giggle:

In Arwen's thread, she said she wanted to "hop on the I'm looking for something" bandwagon, and that she too was looking for something -- a lost sheep. :)

In a current thread about things people can't eat for unusual reasons (in the Family Forum,) we landed upon the topic of Chocolate Cows, which I seem to be missing -- and would very much like to find, due to an unabashed addiction to chocolate (milk chocolate, if you please.)

And so, I am looking for a ever-giving Chocolate Cow. Surely that's not too much to ask, don't you think? And I am prepared high and low to find one:

BUT, I can't just sit alone and hold a Singles Forum Search Party all by myself, right? What fun would that be?!

Therefore, I am going to write a poll asking others what they are looking for, too. Answers will be multiple choice and, adding to the fun, we'll be able to see who voted for what. :)

Now the poll can't possibly include every answer, so please tell us what you are looking for in your post!

And so:

* What are YOU looking for? (Seoulsearch cues up the infamous "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2.)

* Has anyone else seen or found the things everyone else is looking for in this this thread? If so, are you going to just give it to them -- or will they have to arm wrestle you for it first?

* If you WERE fortunate enough to find what you were looking for, what are you doing (or are planning to do) with it?

Come along and Let's Get This Search Party Started!!!:cool::D

So your daughter is so old she’s no longer embarrassed about her parents? My daughter was at least 20 before she stopped being embarrassed about her crazy mother lol.

I'm fortunate to have the kids I do. They've accepted the fact that Dad can be quite bazaar!

Shoot. You beat me to it.

I'm looking for a place near me that sells port du salut cheese. Aldi occasionally has it, but cannot be dependent on for a steady supply. And I can't even get out to Aldi very often, for reasons. I wish the local grocery store would start carrying it.

Well... I mean...

*Lynx glances at Rodney...

*Lynx retrieves the memory of Rodney bursting out laughing suddenly, multiple times...

It's just that... Well, he's not NOT a carnival.

If he wants to identify as a carnival I won't object.

He's a walking carnival.

The amazing thing about Rodney is that he has this incredible delayed laugh.

Like... He sees something. And he wants to be good. He really, really does (at least I think.)

But... He. Can't. Hold It. In. And he wears everything he's thinking on his face, and there's no hiding it.

So you can see all the gears grinding, and you know exactly what he's thinking... But there's a moment of silence. And if you wait for it, just wait for it...

In about 3 seconds, he erupts into a huge, deep Southern belly laugh that is absolutely contagious -- and has everyone within earshot rolling, even if they have no idea what set him off!

The ironic thing is, the last time we witnessed this patented laugh, it was actually over a mishap with a balloon animal -- so I'd say the description of him being a "carnival" is pretty darn accurate.

I am looking for a flying, time-traveling De Loren. However I don't think I could afford even a non-flying, non-time-traveling, non-driving one, so there is that.

I am always looking for a unicorn.

I am looking for an orange kitten with a good personality that I can have final say on medical treatments (like when to spay/neuter). In fact this is reminding me that I drempt I found one only to discover it was someone else's. In real life, there was a stray one outside my house church, but then not exactly the best chance of a good personality, so the search continues.

I am not exactly looking for a new job yet, but God is already speaking of one, and I can't see living on 2 hours a week in the coming season, so I can't say I'm not either.

Maybe I would like to jump forward a 500 years or so. Just imagine being a citizen of Galveston, Texas, the new center of the universe in 500 years lol.
