Originally? I was glad to have both. I would hate to live in a world without both Spider Man and Batman, even if they will never do a crossover series.

Now? I can do without both of them. You can only reboot a storyline so many times before it becomes meaningless. "Oh in THIS Spider Man, Aunt May dies and Uncle Ben lives, and the webbing actually comes out of his butt like a real spider, and Mary Jane gets killed so he turns gay and marries Harry Osborn." Big whoop. The more times you scramble it, the less reason I have to care.

I am marvel all the way but in DC I'm a huge batman fan
About Batman: The animated series was the REAL Batman for me. Great Joker, great Ra's Al Ghul, great Penguin, wonderful characterization all around.

Ra's called Batman "Detective." Of all the things all the characters called Batman, that was probably the most accurate, and respectful. The only improvement would be "Guardian."

I was always a big Spidey and Supes kinda girl. I told a friend of mine that in order to be a REAL comic superhero, you had to have supernatural powers or at least come from another planet. :p

I loved that their alter egos were at one point, clumsy, socially awkward nerds who were seen as outcasts. :geek:I could relate a lot more to that than say Batman, because how could I ever relate to being a rich playboy in a cape?! (Let the trash talk begin!) I am, however, a fan of Harley, because who wouldn't want an excuse to get away with causing a bunch of chaos?!

I loved the original Tobey Maguire movie because he fit the character of Spiderman I was used to, and he had just the right amount of "nerdy but could be handsome" look. While I have nothing against Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland, but I felt both were too handsome, too polished, too coordinated, and too cool for me to ever see them as the Spidey I knew and loved.

Same thing with Christopher Reeve, who will always be "my" Superman. I loved that he put just as much work into Clark Kent's awkwardness as he did when playing Kal-El.

no favorites. i buy & sell whatever i know i can profit on.
If I would've keep all the comic books that I bought in my youth in mint condition I would probably be a millionaire. Used to take my baseball cards, fold them slightly, and build little houses with them.
