I have just finished looking at over 2k images from one person LOL
Probably closer to 2.5k.
I believe she is the same person who ai generated the girl in this panel (I did change/replace her eyes and make other edits):
Galatians 2:16 A man is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.

Yeah, and the time it makes you wait to be able to post a reaction emoji is much longer than 3 seconds -- if at all. I've been having to hit the Refresh button and even then, it sometimes won't let me.
At first, the 3 seconds restriction was only happening on my laptop... Now it's happening on my laptop (no matter which browser I use -- before, I avoided some issues by switching browsers, but now, the problem seems universal,) AND my phone, so I have to assume it must have to do with whatever they're doing to update the site.

Yes, it has been discussed in a few threads... and going on for more than a month now. I do believe
it is connected to the chat app being tested out. @seoulsearch yikes I am still good in Firefox but
I did notice yesterday or Wednesday that the glitching had started on my phone as well.
Well, searching out images to use in my designs is or has quite often been a time consuming part of what I do, but my whole adult life has been spent looking at other people's pictures, so it is something that I imagine I find easier to do than some others might. Like, I looked at everything that one person had on offer, which was at least forty pages of images, and there are probably sixty images per page... and that was after already looking at possibly a few hundred from the general offerings. When I find an artist whose work I like, I go into where just their stuff is displayed on the site, through their profile. She had a number of styles, some of which were basically completely unsuitable for what I want images for, so I was able to skim through those. Halloween and seasonal and faeries and other thematic stuff... and some of the images I saved of hers only to chop up and use parts of. For instance I started this panel yesterday, and then after perusing a thread on women's role in the church etc, I dediccated it to Genesis and used four or five background elements, some of which were parts of larger images of hers, mixed and matched, to remove the elements I did not want. I had already tried quite a few combos of different backgrounds and things before that, but did not like anything with that face until that point. That is why I call what I do "collaging," for it truly is. I used to spend a lot of time building my backgrounds, and still do fuss over them, but generally speaking, since they get covered with the text which is the whole point of the panel in the first place, I really kind of have to be willing to sacrifice parts of what I have added to the greater good of the panel, if you know what I mean?
And now so many people are using AI to generate images, which at first I eschewed, for I was mostly only looking at/for women's faces at that point, and a lot of them were too obviously AI, but the first thing I usually do with a woman's face is change the eyes, so that helped alleviate some of the problem, though even then, one partially profiled face I saw had one large nostril instead of two LOL.So I swapped out the nose on that one also, and other times I change the mouth or the hair also and add a torso/shoulders and change the neck and do all manner of edits and manipulations to the files I find, which are offered free for use in people's projects. I did like that the files are all relatively large, because it is better to have to shrink something than to have to stretch it out too much (it blurs/pixelates/gets grainy). Anywho, yeah, I spend a good deal of time on most of the panels, though my time has shortened overall... but even selecting the fonts can be challenging, because I have added so many and not all are as legible as I would like blah blah blah!!! LOL.
I am really liking some of the AI generated backgrounds I am finding,
and that can also lessen the amount of time I spend on a panel.

Don't believe so. Just another glitch. Happens to me too. Sometimes I wait pass 3 seconds and get the same message. Most of the time no problem, but occasionally this occurs. Hopefully, this too will be resolved. I finally had to switch browsers because my reaction box did not work, I would hover over the 'like' icon - the box and icons would briefly appear before disappearing totally. It works now since I switched from MS Edge to Wave.
