I have been prayiing for Elon Musk. As the richest man in the world, he has a huge platform and could bring millions to faith.
I've also been praying for Khabib Nurmagomedov, the old UFC fighter. He is such a humble man who lives out his faith, but of the wrong faith! I'm saddened that the devil has deceived him through has lineage living in a Muslim country.

Oprah could bring millions of housewives to our Lord.
I should pray for her as well.

Great thread idea!

I have prayed for Madonna (the singer) since I was a kid. I'm amazed (not in a good way) that there are plenty of rock stars from the 60's and 70's still kicking along, but pretty much everyone who hit it big in the 80's -- Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston -- is gone. She's about the only one left.

I remember in high school when her career was taking of, one of our pastors said, "Hell will be hot for Madonna."

This was the same pastor who confessed to us high school kids that he had problems "watching things he shouldn't" when he attended pastor's conferences without his wife. (The was in the days before the internet and long before smart phones -- so he would have had to have purposely order these "movies" to his hotel room and pay an additional fee for them.)

Now I'm not saying that in judgment of him -- we all have our sins. But what I hated was that he would unabashedly judge someone else he didn't even know when he obviously had his own issues.

Thus, I started praying for Madonna -- and more so when I read interviews about how much she was affected by her mother's death when she was just a child. Not only that, but she described her mother as a devout Catholic whom she saw kneeling on uncooked rice and sleeping on wire hangers "to punish herself for her sins." I know if I'd have seen my parents self-harming in the name of "religion," I would have had a problem with it, too.

However, at one point just a few years ago, I felt God was talking to me about her in the same way as when the prophet Samuel wept over King Saul. God knew Saul wasn't going to repent, and so he pretty much told Samuel, "How long are you going to keep crying over this guy? Get over him and move along, because I've chosen someone else (David.)"

And lately I have felt this in my prayers for Madonna as well. Not in judgment (because I would very much like to see her get saved,) but because only God knows and can judge her heart -- and apparently, He wants me to move on.

But I still talk to Him about her when I see her in the news, and ask if there's any possible way... that she would change her mind.

I've prayed for Oprah too... to give me a car. Unfortunately, it hasn't happened yet.
*Seoulsearch wonders what NightTwister did that was so bad, he got put on Oprah's Naughty List.*

Probably had something to do with coffee makers... (Maybe she figured you had so many, you could just trade them all in for a car instead.)

Eh? How so? She says she believes but then denies the very words of Jesus. Has she repented/changed?

We are shocked, absolutely shocked!!!

Just out of curiosity...

What kind was it (and why?)

Was there somehow one room left in the house that was grievously missing a coffee maker? :D

Maybe not, but you can always use a backup. You never know when one coffee maker might up and die on you, and then that room will be coffee maker less. Best to put a backup coffee maker in each room too.

Madonna is an interesting person for sure and I saw her biography of how she "made it".
She was determined to make it and had to sleep with and screw over anyone to make it to top. She succeeded in the terms of worldly success pushing the limits of sex, money, fame, etc.

It's a Nespresso Vertuo machine. My wife has been wanting one for some time, and I found a great deal on it. Not sure where it will go just yet, I have the classic Nespresso machine already on the kitchen counter.

Sorry for the size of that cafetera, I copied it and pasted it directly... I will not do that again.
