What Are Your Favorite Kinds of Halloween Booty?

Nah, they never have any really good candy after Halloween. Halloween candy is made to give away, so it's only the cheap stuff.

I used to be really big on after Christmas candy sale. But these days they don't even make really good Christmas candy anymore.

Sometimes you can score dark chocolate truffles at an after Valentine's Day sale. But even that is rare now.
Maybe this is one of the advantages of living in a slightly bigger area. We have the same set of about 3 different franchised grocery stores 30 minutes away in any direction. So if one store doesn't have a good variety of leftovers, the next 6 are bound to have something...

When was the last good candy holiday... Easter?

I've been noticing, in this area at least, the leftovers are usually what's perceived as more expensive, since everyone is on such a tight budget.

One store had a ton of Dove chocolates left, and another store had a lot of Lindt.

my wal-mart has tons of stuff every year and if you get there early you can get something decent.
and grocery outlet things get cheaper and cheaper. i once waited about. year and something 10 bucks went down to 50 cents.

I would want to see or hear nothing about haloween, a pagan festival.
