Well, Christmas is as good as you make it. IOW as good as you give.
I try to have the best Christmas as possible. I give them to everyone I can. Neighbors, family, Church friends and etc.
They are NOT for sale...they are gifts. The price is love. Money is too cheap to purchase my truffles and cookies.
Somehow, things baked with love always taste the best. It's nice that you bake for others while being motivated by nothing but love.

I can't imagine a Christmas without homemade cookies and treats of some form.

If you think back of the Christmas seasons you remember with smiles....it usually centers on activities you did with others like decorating the tree after picking it out. Helping decorate the house. Shopping for presents and caroling....you might recall a present or two that was exceptional but mostly the time of spending quality time with others. Hence the gingerbread subdivision.

I aim to demonstrate to others that happy memories are the true gift of Christmas. Time spent with others doing fun things.
You can preach it but nobody gets it. When you just do it....then they still might not get it...but we live in hope.

Yes,Garlic over a boyfriend 😆
Definitely garlic over a boyfriend. Because I'm a guy. :p

Garlic over a girlfriend? Debatable. I really like garlic. It would have to be a very special girlfriend to get away with demanding I eschew garlic.

But for any guy who does definitely say garlic is more important, I have a slogan for you. There's a term guys use a lot to indicate they will be loyal to their guy friends first if it conflicts with being loyal to a girlfriend. It is somewhat vulgarly described as, bros before hoes. Guys, our slogan is garlic before girls.
