I was in the medical field for 23 years so I have some experience here.

I am not against medicine or medication. But I think it is wise to understand that the medical system is designed around three principles: 1) to get you back to school, 2) to get you back to work, 3) to reduce your burden on society. All three may not apply to you but at least one will.

Please be assured: I'm not criticizing the people in the system or those who use the system, only the system itself. We may be in the world while not being of the world.

More often then not, when believers want to either be faithful for their healing or apply medical measures I encourage them to apply both.

for a lot of it I have heard that rather than cure you they just put you on meds why cure someone of something when you can bill them and give them pills instead?

So much we have not been taught about divine healing the Biblical way it seems He allows and blesses medical support for healing in this absence of knowledge.
Reminds me of the verse, "My people perish for a lack of knowledge"
Scripture didn't tell us to pray for healing, Jesus commanded healing, and we are to do so in His name as we are so prayed up and full of Holy Spirit that His healing flows out of us.

Unfortunately this is all too true.

But don't blame the practitioners, per se. The payors, insurance companies, often dictate treatment protocols. Like the world, insurance is an economy based on lack & fear, so it hoards its resources. Wrangling with insurance companies is one of the reasons I left the field.

even so there has to be some accountability to the ones prescribing the pills you know I grew up in hospiritals I got pill after pill after pill and I still take many pills all of them giving me bad side affects while not treating my symptoms just bandaging them.

I lost a lot of my eye sight because I couldn't afford my eye drops I have had lots of bad experiences when it comes to medication but I still believe it can help people even though I have every reason not to so for people to say it is demonic is beyond me

Whenever my time is to go home, then I will go there and see me as there already in trust humbly thank you
I recommend you learn everything you can and beware the VA staff. There are good ones, but they earned their reputation for passing out bloody gowns to vets to taking their lives away faster than a hot war. You don't want to go home sooner than necessary brother.

Off topic, wonder if Luke, 'the beloved physician' enjoyed 'healing all those oppressed of the Devil' (Acts 10:38)?

The other day I overheard what was probably THE strangest belief I ever heard of when it comes to medicines and anything that comes from a pharmacy. It sounded like they were attempting to state that all pharmacy was demonic and we should never take a single pill for any ailment. I scratched my head on that one for sure. So they mean to tell me that my aspirin will get me thrown into hell? Or how about folks with high blood pressure who have a medical doctor prescribe certain blood pressure meds to help them? Are they all wrong? What on Earth is this about folks? Are they saying that if a doctor prescribes me something for an ailment and I take it I am doomed or something? What do you think? Is an aspirin really bad?
as with anything, you have to find someone on the "inside" sort of speak. ignorant talk, it is about pharma medicines. obviously, they wouldn't be in business if all of it is garbage. twice in my life, i was about to get quite sick & i called some pro medicine people & got some prescription medicine for free & BAM! NO SICKNESS. worked like a miracle. whatever i had was gone nearly instantly. it seemed both times it was the flu or pneumonia. someone has been massively misinformed. don't listen to that person. in the meantime, honey, oranges, & white tea are great natural healers. calmly perform your research.

I see no problem with it if as long as it is prescribed by a medical doctor to help improve your health. It's the illegal drugs that pose the problem and lead a person down the path to self destruction.

Pharma alleviates symptoms but has no proven cure for influenza.
Often a Dr will say take something to reduce fever for instance. Why do you get a fever? It's your body's way of "killing off" the virus load, an essential component of the immune system. Last time a client got sick, he complained about his low grade fever.
I told him that he should recover shortly after. He did and felt much better the followers day. If he took some chemical to bring the fever down, his illness would have probably been prolonged. God designed our bodies miraculously to deal with challenges. That's why I don't glorify the creatures that push chemicals, but rather the Creator Who is blessed forever. Amen?

Did you know that my state has a far bigger drug problem from state licensed physicians than from the other seedy characters who prescribe those drugs for getting stoned?
As bad as the illegal drug pushers are, the worst of the worst are MDs/Murder Doctors.

I take aspirin every morning. I must be a bad person. I believe there is some confusion over the pharmacy term. In the bible it means sorcery, and not medicine.
