Are you really claiming God won't lead you into believing sound doctrine?
Nope, I'm simply stating that "Sound doctrine" , with one exception, isn't what get's you Born again. the ONE UTTERLY CRITICAL DOCTRINE is Salvation BY FAITH in the perfect SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the Cross. ANd it isn't the "Doctrine that saves you, but YOUR RESPONSE to the conviction of SIN by the holy spirit which is the beginning of FAITH (Rom 10:17).

"Sound Doctrine" may take a while to develop - "WISDOM" is available by the Holy Spirit. but some folks have come out of BOZO Religious Denominations, and it may be a while before they learn the TRUTH, instead of what they were taught. there are any number of FALSE DOCTRINES being taught which aren't critical to salvation. Whether or not one "believes" in "Purgatory", or the "Blessed virgin" foolishness isn't a salvific issue.

If someone knowingly chooses to believe false doctrine, do you believe this person is a believer?

Key word "KNOWINGLY"!!!

Obviously, a person who has been part of a denominational system that is partially heretical, but by God's action (Eph 2 8,9) becomes born again may carry a collection of heretical doctrines learned as a result of their denominational association. However they wouldn't be KNOWINGLY BELIEVING false doctrine. some things take time to learn, and being "BORN AGAIN" isn't a "Doctrinal issue".

Martin Luther, for example, as an educated and fully indoctrinated Roman Catholic professional, held any number of HERETICAL CATHOLIC DOCTRINES, but possessed ONE CRITICAL TRUTH - i.e. SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE!!!!

Key word "KNOWINGLY"!!! What SANE PERSON would choose to KNOWINGLY BELIEVE something that they KNOW to be FALSE.

Lots of "religious" folks believe FALSE DOCTRINE, but not "KNOWINGLY" - i.e. - with the full realization and understanding that it's false and without merit.

Bob, don't have a heart attack. He only has 2 answers. Both are nonsensical.

I saved you from an aneurysm.

Those who are not of the elect do believe false doctrine of the devil.

Your phrasing is unclear and somewhat contradictory. Maybe it’s a language issue with you. Here is my take on your question—-

If someone knowingly chooses to believe something they know is false, that’s a contradiction — belief usually requires thinking something is true.

If they know it’s false, they wouldn’t truly believe it — they might pretend to, or choose to follow it for another reason, but actual belief implies accepting something as true.

If what you are saying is true, most people who endorse false doctrine are worse than we thought. They actually claim to believe false doctrine even though they don't actually believe the false doctrine they willingly embrace.

Do you believe someone can knowingly choose to believe in (Jesus) the correct doctrine of Jesus Christ while at the same time knowingly choosing to believe in false doctrine (The Devil)?

No, you misunderstand what is written. If they believed something was true, they couldn’t possibly believe it was false at the same time.

That is even more scary if they know the correct doctrine of Jesus Christ and still deny it.

I find it sad that Dino246 believes a person can't have peace unless they believe/embrace false doctrine. :(
I find it sad that you continue to bear false witness against Dino246. You know are knowingly embracing false doctrine. You know what the consequence of that is.
