I'm guilty of liking coffee that isn't recognizable as coffee anymore. I tend to use the coffee itself as a flavoring.
My dream cup of coffee would amaretto flavored with tons of real cream, sugar, whipped cream, piece of chocolate, and maraschino cherries.
My usual, down-to-earth coffee is mixed with low-fat milk and stevia instead. I prefer it hot, but like it iced in hot weather. I'm always conscious of calories, carbs, and sugar, so I have to tone it down for daily consumption. I'm also very sensitive to caffeine, probably shouldn't have it at all, but you know -- decaf just isn't the same.
So I try to limit myself to one cup a day, then have herbal tea and water the rest of the day.
A local coffee franchise here, The Human Bean, makes one of the most delicious coffee concoctions I've ever had -- the famous Snowy Mocha, described as, "a creamy blend of smooth white chocolate, espresso, and steamed milk," complete with a chocolate-covered espresso bean served on the lid of your drink.
Every now and then, I get a coupon for a free one of these, and I'm pretty sure it has enough sugar to kill a horse.
I take it home and split it into several containers (freezing a few,) then try to limit myself to only a few sips per day.
Great thread and poll,
