This is not about me, or between you and me it's between you and JESUS.

Your teacher should be JESUS HE IS THE WORD, not any man including me.

Problem is people can't read and understand simple words they don't like what it says so that is why do many different denominations!!
There you are.
Going in circles!
You say we have no need for a man to teach us?
Then you proceed to try to teach me.

You are a Martian?

You've already said that. It is what you mean by "get rid of all sin" that eludes my understanding. How do you get rid of the law of sin (generally termed the sin nature) that resides in your body? (Rom.7:23)

The sin we are born with and the sins we commit while alive are the totality of our sin, there are no future sins beyond that. You are claiming being baptized in Jesus name deals with that. There is no future need for forgiveness as no-one sins after they are no longer alive.

You make it sound like once one is baptized that's it, all sin is done and dusted but then you talk of future sin beyond the ones we commit while alive. Your statements are very confusing.

Is sin something that disappears at baptism or do we continue to struggle with it?
This is what I said.

If your asking me, it's our job to obey HIS WORD. We need to repent and get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of all of the sins we were born with and those we commited why we were alive.

After that our future all we need to do is repent and ask him to forgive them.

So to make it clear.

We need to repent and get baptized in JESUS name to get rid of all of the sins we were born with and those we commited why we were alive.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

AFTER WE GET RID of them, WE WILL STILL SIN!!!

How we get rid of them.

1 John 1:8-10
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I don't mean to be confusing, that explain it all good?

If not let me know.

What is that baptism?
Water?
Or, Holy Spirit?

Water?
We are to be saved by works now?

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Now accept what the Word of God says...

Can you?

According to JESUS we need water and spirit.

Why do you say being baptized is a work?

Who is doing the work, a person who wants his sins remitted is accepting his word and obeying!!

Is the person baptizing someone working I would say yes as after we are reborn we are suppose to work for him.

Is JESUS doing the work? taking away our sins, I WOULD THINK HE WOULD BE HAPPY when WE OBEY HIM.

You ask me IF I ACCEPT HIS WORD??

Did you and get baptized in JESUS NAME to get rid of YOUR SINS???

I SURE DO ACCEPT HIS WORD ALL OF IT, but we need to keep it in context.

Ephesians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

As you can see Paul is speaking to those who have been reborn NOT THE UNSAVED.

We are saved by grace, look at what The Hebrew name for John is Yohanan (יוֹחָנָן), which can also be written as Yəhôḥānān (יְהוֹחָנָן). It means "God has been gracious" or "YHWH has been gracious".

GOD graciously gave us John to introduced baptism for remission of sins.

HE IS SO COOL.

AFTER WE GET RID of them, WE WILL STILL SIN!!!
This is what is confusing. If we still sin, then sin is not gone is it for we still have the capacity to sin. You keep making it sound like sin is abolished at baptism when clearly you recognise it is not.

Do you believe we have a sin nature (law of sin) dwelling in our body as per Rom.7:23?

According to JESUS we need water and spirit.
Born again = TWO births.

First birth was what?

Your mother when giving birth?
She broke water before you were born.

When the amniotic sac ruptures during labor, known as "water breaking,"
it signals the beginning or impending onset of labor. This can happen naturally,
either during labor or shortly before it begins. It's a normal and healthy part of
late pregnancy and early labor.

Water = first birth.

First birth?
Born physically alive, but spiritually dead.

GOD graciously gave us John to introduced baptism for remission of sins.
Which was to prepare Israel for their King and the Kingdom He would have established at the time if they had not rejected Him as a nation Matthew 3:7. John's baptism was a baptism of repentance Acts 13:24 Acts 19:4, it was a preparatory baptism. Christ's baptism is a baptism of power Acts 1:8. To be baptized in the name of Christ, is to be baptized in power, for power and name are synonymous.

Acts 4:7
After making Peter and John stand in their midst, they began to inquire, “By what power or by what name did you do this?”

Are you living in the age of Israel?
Or, in the Church age?

We are not to live as the OT Jews did under the Law.
John the Baptist was Jewish, not Christian.

Those being water baptized were what?"
Jews, not Christians.

We are no longer to live that way.

So then if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
The old things passed-away; behold, new things
have come-into-being.

2 Cor 5:17

The word "new" as found in 'new creation' has a specific meaning in the Greek.
The word 'new' means, something new that never existed before!

We need to learn these truths if we are ever to live correctly the life we have been called into.

Many Christians still walk as men! 1 Corinthians 3:3.

WHAT, WHAT????? Where does this stuff come from?

Being born is what gave us our sins!!!!!!!!

JESUS was speaking to Nicodemus WAS Nicodemus born naturaly??

If you was not born naturaly YOU WOULD NOT be able to READ HIS WORD.

Did you notice the word REBORN???

If you was not born naturaly YOU WOULD NOT be able to REBORN.

TWO DIFFERENT baptism one in water the other spirit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

CAN'T ENTER WITHOUT BOTH!!!

Water gets rid of our sins, the Holy Ghost gives us power.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

According to Acts every case BOTH was done, they received the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues and was baptized in JESUS name. In different orders.

HOW DO YOU THINK WE GET RID OF OUR SINS???

HOW DO YOU THINK WE GET RID OF OUR SINS???
One baptism (water) was for Israel to prepare them for their Messiah, the other (Spirit) is for Christians under the New Covenant. We belong to the latter, one baptism Eph.4:5. Water baptism does nothing for our sin except symbolically. Only the Cross has a real and permanent effect upon our sin.

Acts 2:38-39 says to be baptized in the name of Christ, not water. They continued baptizing in water because that was the tradition established by John, but eventually Peter woke up to what Christ told them before He left in Acts 1:8. John the Baptist understood Jesus would baptize differently. Matt.3:11 and Luke 3:16

It took the baptism of Cornelius and his household for Peter to wake up and even then he didn't remember until he was recounting the incident to the others. Acts 11:16

Being born from above is regeneration, not baptism in the Spirit. No-one was baptized in the Spirit until Pentecost but all believers, from Adam until Pentecost were born again. No-one could have understood spiritual matters if they were not born of God for the carnal man is oblivious to spiritual things. 1Cor.2:14

John 3:5 was for Israel under the Law. They needed to undergo John's baptism to symbolize their repentance and they needed to be born from above. Nothing to do with the Baptism Christ would inaugurate.

Accepting the Gospel deals with our sin. We are forgiven in Christ but our sin nature remains which is why the Spirit also indwells us bodily to make our temple clean. As long as we are filled and led of the Spirit and do not grieve or quench the Spirit by following after our flesh, we remain at peace with God and our sin cannot have any power over us.

Our sins will not be "got rid of" as you put it until we put on the new body in the resurrection.

Do you talk in your sleep often?

Someone would have to wake someone up who was talking in his sleep, to first find out why he said what he did.

Until you wake up?
You're just a distraction away from what was being discussed.
