Laws in Exodus
The laws in Exodus 12 applied to Jesus and the same laws were from the beginning after the death of the testator of the Old Testament. All the laws of the Torah were established in the beginning by the testator.
Leaven
In Matthew 13:35, Jesus said he would reveal a secret kept from the foundation of the world but tell it in a parable. Adam and Eve lead the first foundation, and the parable is about them. Jesus tells a story about a woman who hid leaven in someone’s meal. Consuming leaven was forbidden by law, and to do so would cause them to be cast out of the garden. Satan knew this. Why do you think Jesus told the story in a parable? It is incumbent upon you to understand the parable, it is called discernment, however not everyone will understand it. The scriptures contain secrets and mysteries, but the Bible does not reveal them readily.
33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. (Matthew 13:33 KJV)
The law in Exodus and the parable of leaven ties in with 1 Timothy 2:15. The woman would be saved if they
continue in faith and charity and holiness with
sobriety. Sobriety refers to the condition of being sober, or not under the influence of alcohol. Leaven is a yeast use in dough to make it rise and, it causes a beverage to ferment into alcohol. Eve said the serpent had beguiled her, tricked her into doing what? She
hid leaven in Adam’s bread and drink causing God to cast them out of the garden based to the law. This is why the woman was in the transgression and not the man.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety. (1 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
15Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. (Exodus 12:15 KJV)
