I will say it again.. Only the sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit shall never have forgiveness.. All other sins are forgivable by one believing Jesus and trusting in the Atoning Blood He provided through His death on the cross..
Agreed

I appreciate your acknowledgement of the correct response to the gospel.
Faith/trust/believing on the Savior Who gave His life for our sins is far different than what substitutes for the gospel.

If a man continues to knowigly love evil after knowing the truth that it's condemned, they are blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
To say that Homosexuality is acceptible to do as a saint before God and His throne, is to preach a different Gospel than the one Jesus Preached.

I myself am a man who struggles with Sin, and needs the Blood of Christ for atomement.
But I strive toward the end that sin is made an end of. If I turn and say, "The Word detests this, but I will spitefuly practice it anyway", I have detested the Word of God.

If the hearts of her friends are truly after God, let the spirits conviction in them turn them. If they willfully forsake God, then their hearts will be hardened to unbelieve. God won't allow the hardening to overwhelm someone who truly turns to Him.

Love evil? Or something un- adressed? I have difficulty understanding where to differentiate.

God adresses Himself to everyone. He doesn't let anyone have an excuse. It takes commitment and effort to continually organize evil times with strange men, and an attatchment to vanity to say, "my life was meant for this", after the soul feels utterly drained and empty after committing such heinous acts.

Why does everyone say to walk away from this friend? They need help not hurt.

I considered myself a lesbian for many years. I am in fact sexually attracted to females and not males. The way a straight person would be "turned on" by the opposite sex - I only feel that with other women.

But I consider myself a celibate. I choose not to act on it.

Your friend may be feeling confined or forced into submission of the church and of God.

What your friend needs right now, only God can know. But when I was at that point what I needed was to grow closer to the Lord. Because when you get to know God, you understand him better.

And now I understand that he doesnt want me to deny my desires to hurt me or as a punishment. It is so that instead of focusing on a partner, I put more focus on him.

I know this isnt the same for everyone, we all have our own journeys.

But I see it as a blessing- instead of investing time in a relationship with a man, that time goes to the Lord.

I make the best of it. And with your help your friend can too.

I agree with you if that was the case but he is not doing that this has been going on for years and now he has decided to practice the homosexuality again and call himself a christian with this sinful nature as a part of him and not a sin anymore.

I have never told him to deny his feelings i have personal experience with that as well but he is just looking for comfort and has given up to the point where he wans a christian friendship of affirmation not truth. That is where i find myself being discouraged and fatigued.

Hi, sister!

Very sorry to hear about all that you have been going through. As someone who has had to give up a lot of secular friendships, I can understand the difficulty of letting go of a friend. From personal experience, I know that when I was around my non-Christian friends, I would slowly see myself becoming more like them (cursing, the tv shows I watched, etc.), where as when I was around my brothers and sisters in Christ, they held me to a higher standard of living. 1 Corinthians 15: 33-34 says, "Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame." I know in context here, Paul is talking about those who were teaching against the resurrection, I believe the point can still apply in the sense that, if we are around or influenced by people who say they are "Christian" but act and talk otherwise that is contrary to scripture, then we'll get dragged down with them. James 4 also tells us that if we are friends with the world, we are enemies with God (I'm paraphrasing here).

Just my thoughts and suggestion, but to me it sounds like you need to distance yourself from your "friend" for a while, and grow your relationship with the Lord. During this time, pray for your friend to truly repent and come to know Jesus, and leave the rest in God's hands, since it is by grace that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8). Maybe one day your friend will become a true brother in Christ!

I am sorry to tell you this but truth matters. When you say :

"I considered myself a lesbian for many years. I am in fact sexually attracted to females and not males. The way a straight person would be "turned on" by the opposite sex - I only feel that with other women."

But I consider myself a celibate. I choose not to act on it.

This is deception that you are speaking and God is not impressed by "I" being celibate because "I" choose to be. God expect one to be Holy as he is Holy meaning, separate from the world and not having ones identity with sin as you says :

"I considered myself a lesbian for many years." "But I consider myself a celibate. I choose not to act on it."

One's attraction to the same sex is not different than a Husband who is attracted to another women other than is wife.

IT's lust unchecked. Then one thinks because they choose not to act on the lust over allowing God to set them free from the lustful desire, is because one is protecting the sinful actions with Pride.

I consider myself Lesbian, I consider myself celibate. I choose not to act on it.

BUT, one is not celibate, they are still lustful , and they still act on it in their heart and mind. Why?

Because they have bought in to the deceptive narrative of what is known as the LGBTQ agenda.

What you have said is what "gay Pastors" say when justify being homosexual and preaching The word of God. " I choose to be celibate."

That is a lie. Because one can still have lust in their heart as a Heterosexual can, because its a heart issue and a sin issue .

One doesn't want to repent Because the lie that God made one that way.

He did not.

Sin did.

Those who justify themselves and identify with any sin, like drunkenness, adultery, fornication , liars and homosexuals will not Inherit the Kingdom of God. 1cor 6:9-10, gal 5:19-21 NLT.

We must repent and turn away from those things that God said do not do, and separate ourselves from them.

why not tell one to deny their feeling? When they don't line up with the word of God or created from lust and perversion.

If I have feeling for another women who is not my wife am I to run with it? Not deny that feeling that is as Jesus said is Adultery at heart? Matthew 5:28? One who wants both the world and Jesus will not be saved. You will love one or hate the other. Jesus said that. you can't serve two masters. One who tries to work for salvation and think God is i pressed with their fighting which is really nothing more than a compromise with the world and sin.

One thinks and says to themselves I am gay but I will be celibate. I am a drunkard but I will not drink. Stop lying to oneself.

At no stage have i ever declared that the practice of homosexuality was acceptable to God.. It is a clear sin and declared a abomination in the scriptures and i stand with the scriptures..

But again it is not an unforgivable sin.. Also you introduce Willful sin into the discussion.. Obviously if a person loves a sin and does it with a willfull in your face kind of attitude towards God then they in truth have not believed in the LORDs standards that Homosexuality is an abomination in need of The LORDs Atonement.. The following verse covers wilfull sinning and how there is no sacrafice ( Atonement) for this type of sinning..

Hebrews 10:26
(Hebrews 10:-26) " {26} For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
