I feel you honestly. I’ve had to over time slowly remove friends and people from my life. It does suck. It does. As time passes though you will come to peace with it knowing you are choosing a life for god. That’s how I feel anyway.
I understand that.
I actually just finished reading James 2 and how it spoke about you can have faith but is your faith dead?
I think that is what my friend had. He was and is struggling but even now his faith has never be obedient to the Lord or in persuit of Him.
So i should not be surprised.
I am sorry u also had to lean away frim friends but i guess everyone makes their choice.
My personal struggle is wondering if my faith is dead if i an always walking away? I dont think so since it is putting distance between wicked people, but the thought is still there.

You’re definitely not dead in your faith. I just think you’re very aware of your choices. Which is a good thing. Being aware means you are trying to do what’s right by god. If anything your faith is alive and well. In this life we have God. God is truly the only one we should lean on above anyone else. Not even family. For we are all sinners. gods way is perfect. I will pray you find the answers you’re searching for.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” 17 Therefore, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” 18 “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

God calls for a separation between righteousness and lawlessness, but this does not mean that either he or you don't still care about those who are caught up in sinful lifestyles. Paul instructed the saints at Corinth to put out the sexually immoral man from their midst, but he wrote that with much tears. The man did eventually repent, and then Paul instructed the church to forgive and embrace him. Your faith isn't dead. Let your mind be at peace where that is concerned.

Thanks yeah i need to sit with this for a bit. That comes to mind is the heart is painfully sick so who can trust it. Because I want to say that I just still feel really bad. But I need to stop putting so much weight on my feelings. As childish as it sounds I just don't like it and that is enough for me to complain about it LOL

But thanks for the encouragement again or I guess in this case would be reassurance through scripture.

I am feeling so discouraged, I just got off of a call with one of my friends. who has said he has decided to accept himself and go back to homosexuality and is on tinder, but is still a believer in Christ. He got a bit defensive about it when I said that if you believe in God then why would you disobey him. And he said Christian's don't understand because he never made the choice to be Gay and every one is saying that he has made a choice when he was just born that way.

I told him that as someone who has struggled with same sex attraction out of serious brokenness and mild body dysmorphia that would be considered transgenderism. I do understand. But what I understood was that those feelings are off fallen flesh and are not a choice he was 'born that way' (in fallen flesh), but the sin in homosexuality and transgenderism is choosing to indulge in those fleshly desires instead of denying the flesh and hanging on to truth and running from sexual immorality.

My ex also decided that he was 'born this way' after less than a year of very poor council and just choosing comfort over vows pretty much. But the common thing in both my husband and my friend is that neither of them truly came to God. neither of them truly changed when they said they believe in God and want a relationship with Him.

So maybe I shouldn't be surprised? I am not sure, but what are your thoughts on this?

Like my friend still wants to be friends, he is still going to church but he just wants to practice homosexuality too and in my mind that makes no sense, choosing feelings over truth. And when I struggled God's truth was the line that helped me fight it. I still struggle at times but it has always been easy to deny and ignore after so many years of doing it so why can't other do the same and serve God.

It truly just devastates me but no one really talks about it so yeah - opinions please.
I’m sorry to hear that truly! I’m in the same position as your friend tbh as I am a transman redeeming a relationship with Christ and struggle with lust. It definitely hurts feelings when Christian’s tell you your identity is wrong so I understand his defensiveness. It hurts my feelings too but more so in a I wish I was stronger willed to overcome these feelings way! If you wanna chat or something further, I have Snapchat. Otherwise, have a blessed day and keep praying for him as he may find his way back to Christ soon

I also am struggling with the same old habits time and time again but through Christ I know I can overcome them all (Amen!). That sounds nice id like that.

Hahah yeah accurate!
My uncle and cousins used to race Stock Cars and owned some old classic Muscle Cars, late 60-early 70s vintage. Pontiac Trans Am was popular.
I wish I had pictures of them.
I remember one was Red with black trim, twin carborators and an austentacious hood scoop. My aunt took me for a drive to the closest town, 100 mph+ in Ohio.

You`re suffering because you miss understand Scripture, homosexuality is a curse inflicted by Elohim upon the wicked. Forget about them! The Book of Roman`s teaches a

as a minster my family has been really upset with me because I would not perform a gay marriage or attended it.

Homosexuality is the effects of sin not the cause of it. Transgenderism is also an effect of a few things. sin, identity crisses, a system that promotes it, and bad parenting.

President was the first to make conversion therapy a crime in the United States. That was a Theological attack on Christianity. And the work of the Holy Spirit for that matter.

When sin is left unchecked it will create and produce more sin and depravity. look where we are today from
two consenting adults of the same sex in a relationship, to teaching it in school, creating laws to protect a sexual preference. To openly telling children they are born in the wrong gender and finally embraced by the church as a compromise.

Anything goes now adult want to have sex with children are called minor attractants, Prostitutes are called sex workers, Homeless are called Houseless. We have taken fire to our side and thought it would not burn everything. That what sin does.

A little sin a little fire turns into an inferno. God has not changed His Holiness at the expense of HIS love.

The deception many have done to children will not go unpunished by GOD. Parents, Teachers, Politian's and Pastors will answer to God for the abuse they have supported of children.

Love tells the truth. Love doesn't stand by and allow one to kill themselves. In CA our State gives about 33 k to the homeless which we have about 25 to 30 % of the nations in our state. many talk about racism. It is hate and racist to allow people to kill themselves on the street and give them 1786130903641.png1786130999992.png

It causes offense to a lot of people when others bring to their attention that they are a sinner..

Pride really resists conviction..

But to the meek, the revelation that they are a sinner brings forth contrition.. And that's when a sinner is very open to the Gospel message of salvation by believing Jesus and trusting in the Atonement He secured on the cross to pay the penalty for their own sins..

We all have our own sin struggles. And some are better at fighting the good fight against their own particular weakness in regards to their sin.. But no matter what sin one has, from stealing a pen from work or being a mass murderer, Any sin no matter minor or major, unforgiven by God, will see that sinner in the eternal lake of fire.. But the Good News is that the Atonement of Jesus covers Major and Minor sins all the same.. So a forgiven mass murderer can be as confident as the pen pilferer in the victory that Jesus has achieved for them..

There is only one sin mentioned in the Holy Bible that Jesus said would never have forgiveness and that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. All the rest.. and that includes sexual sins in their many different forms are forgivable by having them covered by the Atoning Blood of the Lamb of God. Jesus..

thanks congrats to you too btw, i think being in the middle of it is much harder tbh. But it is great you are here! I love what you said though like have compassion not tolerance.

I find it hard sometimes when the person doesn't see the compassion. there is one video i saw (it was an interview) of a man with a wife and children who want through the transition he almost went into bottom surgery but was saved at the last minute. but one thing that stuck with me was when he spoke about where his mind was at. he was almost blinded. his wife was very gracious and caring to him but at the time he did not think so.

idk but having that said was really helpful to know that some times the reaction isn't actually the person, that helped me a lot with teh compassion part even if it is from a distance.

He didnt by any chance have a porn oriblem at sone point? Its been indicated as a cause dor orientation shifts. Ive been looking into the strangely high correlation between autism and various sorts of gender nonconformity. Part of me wonders how much of it is triggered by some of societies countless unspoken gender rules that alot of us dont like, leaving the idea of transitioning being a highly visible path now that gets followed alot. I suspect a more tailored solution might prevent a lot of transitions. Cosplaying and historical wear for an ecample.

I hear the weight in what you’re carrying, and if I were sitting across from you, I’d tell you gently that your discouragement makes sense. When someone you love says they want Christ and a path you believe is outside His will, it creates a kind of grief that’s hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t lived it. I’ve learned that people often cling to “I was born this way” not because they’re trying to rebel, but because they’re trying to make sense of desires that feel overwhelming, confusing, or painful. That doesn’t make the choice to act on those desires right, but it does mean their struggle is real. I don’t think you’re wrong for holding to God’s truth, and I don’t think you’re wrong for feeling devastated. But I also know that transformation doesn’t happen the same way or at the same pace for everyone. Some people surrender quickly; others wrestle for years; some collapse under the weight of their wounds. Your friend wanting to stay connected to you is meaningful. You don’t have to affirm his choices, but you also don’t have to abandon him. You can hold your convictions, speak truth with gentleness, and let God do the work you cannot do. And in the meantime, give yourself permission to feel the sadness without assuming it means failure.

A mass murderer will only be saved if he repents of and hates his murderous side. Murder is a concept that will only last in this world, and you can't wear a murderer's clothes at a wedding ceremony, can you? You'll be kicked out pretty quick...
You can't consider yourself a Homosexual/Transgender person and not be invested into the world.
Whoever loves the world is an enemy of God. You can't maximalize your investment into a worldy life and expect to have a heavenly place. Whoever doesn't repent of such things will not Inheret Eternal Life.

I'm sorry you are feeling discouraged. I think encouraging your friend to be obedient to God was a good decision. He made the choice to be gay and live in sin. It is sad he wants to practice the sin of homosexuality and not obey God. I would tell him God is merciful and willing to forgive him if he would repent. That is good you have prayed for both your friend and your ex. I would continue to do that. I would remind them both how much God loves them and wants them to choose eternal life and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.

(KJV Revelation 22:14) "Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

(KJV 1 Corinthians 6:9-10) "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdomof God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

Thanks, yeah i have recently just been havign fatigue tbh from personal hurt from it. I don't really feel strong enough to deal with people who are in that phase of trying to hav ethe bets fo both worlds if that makes sense.
IDK i know that seems very selfish and I guess in a way it is, I have been trying to find the right words but have not been able to. But I am just not in the place to be around people who want to live like that, especially when living a life with someone who is still betrayign me and breaking vows by indugling this lifestyle.
I still pray for them when I am strong enough to put my heart in it, but like ... yeah idk.
I agree with you though and thank you, for your kind words of encouragement and balance, i think you are right like it is important to remember that if God has chosen them, then it will all come back around but that will be at different rates than others <3

I will say it again.. Only the sin of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit shall never have forgiveness.. All other sins are forgivable by one believing Jesus and trusting in the Atoning Blood He provided through His death on the cross..
