1) Jesus said, concerning the tithes. "These things you ought to have done". Even though Jesus knew that the treasury where the tithes went into, would be where the 30 pieces of silver came from to pay Judas for his betrayal.

2) The premise of tithing goes back before the law , to Abraham and Jacob.

3) In the book of acts, they sold everything they had and gave it to the church, or God.
Thats why there's no teaching on tithing, they gave it all.

1) God to be God has no needs, but most of Christianity raises its money based on need....
The churches reduce God down to a beggar of money.....
Need is not the criteria.

2) You can't be a Christian, if you don't have that desire to give.

2) Give in secret, pray in secret, fast in secret.....

a continually surrendered life
offer a deeper surrendered life, and grab hold of Gods word and what He says.
? How about this of "What we see In Scripture?:

Contradiction or wrongly dividing?

Better question: Is a seeming 'contradiction' UN-Scriptural or UN-Dispensational?:

"A pastor friend of this writer has written the following: “There are professing
Christians who religiously practice the washing of feet. Are they Scriptural or
unscriptural? There are some who anoint the sick with oil, while others use
blessed handkerchiefs. Are they Scriptural or unscriptural? Still others tarry
for the Holy Spirit after they have received Christ for salvation.

Some professing Christians claim to have visions and angelic visitations while
hearing supernatural voices. Are they Scriptural or unscriptural? Thousands of
others break forth in some kind of speech which they call the gift of tongues.
Is it Scriptural or unscriptural to speak in tongues?”

To which we add: Scriptures can be found to substantiate all of these actions.
However, it seems to us that it is less than intellectual honesty, much less a
spiritual practice, to arbitrarily select certain Bible commands for obedience
while completely disregarding others.

Why not obey the mandates in Numbers 15:32-36 and Deuteronomy 21:18-21
where infractions were to be punished by publicly stoning the offender to
death? Why not build a tabernacle and offer sacrifices as God commanded
in Exodus 25-31? Why not “sell that ye have and give alms” as Christ instructed
in Luke 12:33? In short, why obey certain Bible commands and ignore others?

Why not obey them all?
The answer to these questions is clearly stated in
II Timothy 2:15:

“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth.”

Though ALL Scripture is most certainly for our admonition and instruction,
all Scripture is NOT for our obedience. In fact, obeying commands given to
others in past economies could be direct disobedience in this age.
(Compare Genesis 17:10-14 with Galatians 5:2 and Romans 2:25-29.

Also, Matthew 19:16-21 with Romans 4:5 and Ephesians 2:8-9). II Timothy 3:16-17
does not contradict or nullify II Timothy 2:15. To the Apostle Paul, the Glorified
Lord revealed God’s message and program for this age of grace. To him was
committed the dispensation of the Grace of God (See Ephesians 3:1-9). In his
epistles, we find the commands given directly to the Body of Christ.

The question then, is not only, is it Scriptural, but is it dispensational?"

GA,
Don't be afraid to say what's on your mind.

Tip toeing around what you really want to say just leaves me wondering what your point us.

Are you questioning my understanding of faith and faithing, pistis and pisteuo, being a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender?

1) Every time the gospel is preached, Jesus said, "tell what this woman did."
What the woman did was the proper response to hearing the Word of God.
She gave the most precious things she had, and wasted it on the Word of God.

That is why the true understanding of NT faith is a continually surrendered life, our most precious possession, to be wasted on Jesus.

1) we give because God likes it, not because He needs it.....

2) we don't give because of grief or need, we give because the indwelling Holy spirit compells us to....

3) Giving hilariously is an outpouring of Gods Spirit in us.

A saint in the Greek is "Hagios".

A saint is a " called out one", committed to the Lord.

Saints aren't perfect, they are candidates for perfection.

All the responsibility doesn't lay with God.
We have to position ourselves properly in Him. ( a continually surrendered life)
Pretty sure to be a registered as a Catholic Saint, you have to perform two documented miracles. You gotta admit, that would be tough.

When catholics declare someone to be a saint that comes with some baloney?

I came up in catholic school in grades 1 through 9. There was alot of positive things that happened, and whether i like it or not , those things started of love for God.

It's not where I am today, but we all have to start somewhere. And I wouldn't change anything.

Salvation is a journey, so IMO, it's showing a lack of understanding to bash any single place in that journey. God can use anything , good or bad to bring forth His called out ones.

Hmm. I’ve heard of the Catholic Saint Judging Committee, where they all sit around with a clip board and ask the candidates to perform two miracles (amongst other grueling tests). Some make it, although I can’t imagine what two miracles they performed.

Have you been to one of these? Please fill us in. What miracles do they do? Serious question.

1 John 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

No, the catholics do not love the Lord.
If they did they would depart from their carnal traditions of men and actually follow the Word of the Lord, but they do not.

So what about the log in your own eyes? We all have one. Does that mean you don't try and love the Lord?

Nobody loves the Lord, not even one.

I can also point out traditions you hold onto if you want?

Nobody loves the Lord, not even one.

That's what the devil keeps telling the reformed ones causing them to continue in sin.

All those that do not love the Lord abiding in Him will spend eternity in hell.

I hold the traditions of the Lord as written in His Word which is not traditions of carnal men

No thats what Rom. 3: 10-17 says.

Do you notice you talk about satan alot?

Well let me do a little test to see how well your conforming to Godd word.

What is the act of saving faith? What is the Biblical response to the call of the Father, that could result in the receiving of the Holy spirit.

Do you notice you talk about satan alot?

Yeah I'm like Jesus and I tell the devils what God says in His Word and I tell them to get out of my sight anytime he tries to pop in.

You sound like you don't know how to keep the devil out of your life which would explain a few things actually.

No thats what Rom. 3: 10-17 says.

Which is not true anymore. It was under the old covenant, but not now. It's quoting the old testament.

If this is true now then God's plan of salvation is a total and complete failure and everyone will go to hell.

Feel free to refuse to seek the Lord and turn away from Him continuing in your sin lacking understanding if you must.

I'm not going to join you in following false doctrine. I will listen to the Word of the Lord instead..
Romans 6:16 - Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

The reformers have a system of believing only a few things the Lord says in His Word which the devil helped them develop. The devil did to the reformers the same thing he did with Adam and Eve in the Garden. They do err very badly in their cherry picking ways.

Romans 3:10-17 describes reformers and all those walking after the flesh:

Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
